♥ SCREAMING BANSHEE ♥

¡Hola a Todos! Nuevamente me encuentro participando en este hermoso concurso de arte sobre el juego de @splinterlands, en esta ocasión con una nueva carta llamada: Screaming Banshee, la verdad tenía muchas buenas expectativas sobre este personaje, acompáñame a ver el proceso.

Hello everyone! Once again I find myself participating in this beautiful art contest about @splinterlands game, this time with a new card called: Screaming Banshee, I really had a lot of good expectations about this character, join me to see the process.

Este es el boceto, quería proponer muchas cosas en esta composición, mi idea principal era hacerla como un fantasma en un cementerio abandonado, a medianoche. Este fantasma estaría flotando en lo alto, con una mirada de enojo y con ánimos de utilizar su poder para derrotar a alguien.

This is the sketch, I wanted to propose many things in this composition, my main idea was to make it as a ghost in an abandoned cemetery, at midnight. This ghost would be floating high above, with an angry look on his face, and eager to use his power to defeat someone.

Estos fueron los colores base de la ilustración. Tuve un gran debate interno sobre cómo dibujar a este personaje, puesto que su forma original era cartoon, así que decidí llevarlo al semirrealismo y hacer su piel semitransparente.

These were the base colors for the illustration. I had a big internal debate on how to draw this character, as his original form was cartoonish, so I decided to take him to semi-realism and make his skin semi-transparent.

Así quedó el tipo de piel que quería pintar a este fantasma, el efecto de piel fantasmal después de probar con muchas capas se pudo completar. Me gustó mucho la forma en que pinté los brazaletes de oro en ambas manos, poco a poco iba detallando más cosas de esta ilustración.

This was the type of skin I wanted to paint this ghost, the effect of ghostly skin after trying many layers could be completed. I really liked the way I painted the gold bracelets on both hands, little by little I was detailing more things of this illustration.

Lo próximo que debíapintar era el fondo, el cual sería un cementerio nocturno donde habrían algunas lápidas donde reposaría este fantasma por el día. Decidí pintarlo con tonalidades azules por el fuerte resplandor de una luna llena que no alcanza a verse.

The next thing I had to paint was the background, which would be a nocturnal cemetery where there would be some tombstones where this ghost would rest during the day. I decided to paint it with blue tones because of the strong glow of a full moon that cannot be seen.

I used a graphic tablet: Kamvas 20"

Me ha encantado la sensación de profunidad y contraste de colores que tiene esta ilustración, es una de mis favoritas de todos mis fanarts de @Splinterlands, espero que sea de su agrado y hayan disfrutado del proceso.

I loved the feeling of depth and contrast of colors that this illustration has, it is one of my favorites of all my @Splinterlands fanarts, I hope you like it and enjoyed the process.
