Hello, terrestrians
I hope you all doing okay and are health. I'm trying to keep to my promise of posting more often and a lot of my comms have let up a little, so there a some room for posting art and even personal projects.
This commission was a pleasure to work on. It was the first were I seriously consider an outside scene. I thought that would be appropriate to this piece because I want the two subjects to be outside mid action and maybe moving.
I loved all the thumbnail ideas for this and have thought about maybe using the other two for my own person work. Maybe even in another commission.
The outfit design weren't much in the way of detail but we're good enough for direction. I landed on these two for the characters.
Vellona is a sharp shooting range type character. A really tough woman. I needed her to be animated or even absolutely present in the scene sucking up all the air. Oz is a Tiefling and uses magic torat card. I thought he might be a more subtle character.
This commission was so much fun and, surprisingly, I did get any trouble making it, apart from just the colour tone when adding colour earlier on, and I changed the background several time. Otherwise, it was a nice commissions to do.
I hope I get more work like this.
