Hace poco hice este ejercicio en donde me propuse pintar un vaso para ver si lograba realismo en la textura y trasparencia del cristal. Ya saben que pinto desde hace muy poco y quiero ir perfeccionando la técnica. Inicialmente quería hacerles el paso a paso, pero como siempre termino sumergida dentro de lo que estoy haciendo y no tomo fotos hasta terminar.
Como todo ejercicio termina al fin, siendo una obra en donde plasmamos algo de lo que nos sucede a nivel emocional. Por eso creo tanto en el poder curativo del arte, siento que es una manera de soltar nuestras afecciones naturalmente y luego verlas desde afuera con más claridad. Quizás de esa manera le ponemos luz y logramos entender un poco.
Me gustó mucho lo que logré, aunque siempre como todo artesano, hay cierta inconformidad con los errores que van surgiendo, pero no me atormento demasiado porque ya sé que son parte del proceso de aprendizaje.
A pesar de que me parece que es bastante simple la simbología de este lienzo me gustaría saber que piensan cuando lo ven.

I recently did this exercise where I decided to paint a glass to see if I could achieve realism in the texture and transparency of the glass. You already know that I have been painting for very recently and I want to perfect the technique. Initially I wanted to do it step by step, but as always I end up immersed in what I'm doing and I don't take photos until I'm done.
Like every exercise it ends in the end, being a work where we capture something of what happens to us on an emotional level. That is why I believe so much in the healing power of art, I feel that it is a way to let go of our affections naturally and then see them from the outside more clearly. Maybe that way we shed light and understand a little.
I really liked what I achieved, although like every craftsman, there is some dissatisfaction with the errors that arise, but I don't torment myself too much because I already know that they are part of the learning process.
Although it seems to me that the symbology of this canvas is quite simple, I would like to know what you think when you see it.
