The Watcher in the Dark
Hello fellow creatives, welcome to my blog! I'm thrilled to share my latest digital art piece with this amazing community.

This artwork was born from a random, late-night epiphany during one of my nocturnal strolls. Although the streets can be unsettling at night, my mind tends to wander and spawn unusual ideas. This time, I found myself lost in thought, envisioning a mysterious monster watching from beyond the stars.

Inspiration
The idea for this artwork was sparked by the Marvel movie 'What If', which I recently watched. The film's exploration of alternate realities and the unknown got me thinking: what if we're not alone in the universe? What if there's something out there, watching us from the shadows? The concept of being observed by an unseen force, perhaps even the darkness itself, sent my imagination running wild.

The Creative Process
Creating this artwork was a straightforward yet engaging process. Here's a step-by-step breakdown:

Step 1: Background
I initially considered a grey background, but ultimately opted for a black background to create a darker, more ominous atmosphere.

Step 2: Starry Night Sky
Using the sparkle brush tool, I added multiple stars to the black background. I kept the brush size moderate to maintain a sense of depth.

Step 3: Red and White Accents
I employed the airbrush tool to paint a vertical section of the page red, reducing the opacity to allow the black background to still be visible. For the adjacent section, I used white to create a brighter, contrasting effect.

Step 4: Eyes and Mouths
On a new layer, I added red, eyeball-less eyes – I'm still working on mastering scary eyeballs! Alongside the eyes, I painted red, ghostlike mouths.

Step 5: Final Touches
Inspired by the character Licifero from "Black Clover," I darkened the eyes to add a sense of intensity. With these steps, my artwork was complete.
