One way or the other, you probably must've come across the reference I used for this sketch. It is originally one of a naked pixie and I decided to improve her clothing conditions so I turned her into the Ice Pixie. A very strong character with intense focus. Usually in cartoons like Peter Pan and other Disney (and the likes) movies, Pixies are likable creatures (based on what I remember from childhood). I decided to capture that somewhat cute essence and pour it into this piece of art.
The sketch went smoothly and I barely stopped for anything because I had a perfect reference and outline. This is one of my favorite so far.
To get the perfect features of the card, I drew the naked pixie first and then impressed on that figure the costume of the card..
...without hesitation I marked some borders with my black pen because I believed that it would make my blue shadings pop and not vanish with the bodrders
...moving on I shared her back
I shared the legs, parts of the wings and the back of her feet.
The overflowing gown wasn't left out in this process.
I then touched up her hair and other parts that needed depth.
Before you know it, I was done. To add some excitement to it, I drew some light blocks of Ice.
The materials I used while making this sketch are blue, black and red pens from two brands: BIC and SCHNEIDER

This has a Disney feel to it. She kind of looks like Tinkerbell.
Yes, she does.
