I haven't been here long at all, but Hive is worth so much more to me than the rewards. Having somewhere to share my wacky ideas, thoughts and feelings about the current world and the world we're heading to are great incentives for me.
There might be a lost day here and there when things get really hectic, but I always come back because I simply love the ability and freedom to express myself more here than on Web 2.0 social media (which I despise now). My blogs are mostly for me, but I know that there can be something in them for others too. The people I've met and interact with regularly have become like close friends and that is truly valuable.
I often wonder why people leave, there's nowhere I would rather express myself as a creative outlet.
It is such a great place to share things like that.
So many people struggle to express themselves, so this type of thing can be hard for those types of personalities.
I agree, but I do think that there's greater opportunity here than elsewhere so even personalities that struggle with it will find their place as it's so varied with the communities. Thanks for your reply, appreciate it.
