Hello, how are you friends? Welcome to my new post, this time to participate in the 331st Splinterlands contest, this time with the card Battering Ram, a wild ram or goat that has large antlers. I have made my illustration with black cardboard and white colors, my goal is to make a truly terrifying design that shows the power that this character possesses, here I briefly describe how the drawing process was, I hope you like it.
Hola que tal amigos? bienvenidos a mi nuevo post, esta vez para participar en el concurso número 331 de Splinterlands, en esta oportunidad con la carta Battering Ram, un carnero o cabra salvaje que posee una gran cornamenta. He realizado mi ilustración con una cartulina de color negro y colores blancos, mi objetivo es hacer un diseño realmente aterrador y que muestre el poder que posee este personaje, aquí describo brevemente como fue el proceso para dibujar, espero les guste.

As I had mentioned before, I chose the color black for the cardboard, most of the drawings I do in splinterlands, I always like to do them on darker backgrounds because it helps me give my vision about realism, which is to make them a little scary. Here you can see how I started the drawing, at first glance it looks like a skull that I then fill little by little until it gives it shape.
Como había mencionado antes, elegí el color negro para la cartulina, la mayoría de dibujos que hago en splinterlands, siempre me gusta hacerlos en fondos más oscuros porque me ayuda a darle mi visión acerca del realismo, el cual es hacerlo un poco aterradores. Aquí pueden ver como comencé el dibujo, a simple vista parece una calavera que luego voy rellanando poco a poco hasta darle forma.

In the next step I begin to draw its enormous horns, which I make with each and every one of the divisions, it took me a bit to give it good proportions, but after several attempts I was able to make them in a way that both looked symmetrical despite the profile adopted by the goat in the drawing.
En el siguiente paso comienzo a dibujar sus enormes cuernos, los cuales los hago con todas y cada una de las divisiones, me costó un poco darle unas buenas proporciones, pero luego de varios intentos pude hacerlos de una manera que ambos se vieran simétricos a pesar del perfil adoptado por la cabra en el dibujo.

Next I change pencil, this time I use the traditional white charcoal, which is more intense and serves to differentiate the drawings well and give it a lot of volume. With this color I take on the task of making the fur of this terrifying goat, which is very broad, and it also helps me shape the horns so that they look more voluminous.
Seguidamente cambio de lápiz, esta vez uso el tradicional carboncillo blanco, que es más intenso y sirve para diferenciar bien los dibujos y darle mucho volumen. Con este color me me doy a la tarea de hacer el pelaje de esta aterradora cabra, el cual es muy amplio, de igual forma me ayuda a darle forma a los cuernos para que se vean con mas volumen.

In the same way, I continue drawing and painting the other horn, but I not only leave the drawing in a single tone, but on the horns I add some warm colors, such as ocher and brown, so that they have a different tone, and so do some other areas of the face. This way I add details little by little until I feel that I have reached a point where I feel satisfied with the drawing.
De la misma forma, continúo dibujando y pintando el otro cuerno, pero el dibujo no solo lo dejo así en un solo tono, sino que en los cuernos agrego algunos colores cálidos, como por ejemplo ocre y café, para que tengan un tono diferente, y así también algunas otras zonas del rostro. Así voy agregando poco a poco detalles hasta sentir que ya he alcanzado un punto donde me siento satisfecho con el dibujo.
What did you think of the result? It was very terrifying, it's as if it suddenly came out of nowhere, ready to take your soul and nothing could stop it. I hope you liked how it turned out, I wanted to make a video, but my phone today was disgusting, I really like being able to make short videos. Qué les ha parecido el resultado? Quedó muy aterrador, es como si de pronto saliera de la nada, lista para llevarse tu alma y nada podría impedirlo. Espero les haya gustado como quedó, quise hacer un video, pero mi teléfono hoy fue un asco, me gusta mucho poder hacer videos cortos. Me despido hasta una nueva oportunidad, suerte para todos los artistas y aliens.
