Hey there Alien Art Community!!
I haven't been posting much on here because I haven't made much art recently - or not in the form of digital or traditional art, more so photography.
But I realized I've never shown you the three digital art pieces I started with in opensea quite a while ago when I first started selling NFTs. They are all still for sale in case someone is interested.
Why I post this tho is because I had a quite deep conversations with people about NFTs and why they exist or why you should buy them because "what do you get from it?!?" and I realized there's many people with many opinions on NFTs and their value and therefore wanted to share my point of view to the topic.
So besides showing you my sensual art series and inviting you into my bedroom with them - I also wanted to invite you into my mind for a brief moment while I share my standpoint towards NFTs.
Because I get it – what is the point?
So for me as an artist and online creator, but also a person who likes to live kinda minimalistic in a way (a lot of white walls and no bullshit standing around) I understand that not everyone wants to buy art in a traditional way, but they still want to support the artist/creator. So in a way NFTs are a beautiful way to do so.
You are able to support the artist/creator, have a piece of their mind on your "digital wall" but don't clutter your place with actual pieces.
It is in my opinion a beautiful way for people with a minimalistic mindset or a small space to still support the artist/creator but don't feel like they have to now have a piece in their home.
I personally like the idea of collecting beautiful things (and yes I would called me and my art a beautiful thing with saying that) but sometimes it is nice to just collect those beautiful things digitally. NFTs give you this option PLUS NFTs in a way are way less prone to loosing their value by getting sunlight, dust, moving etc over the years, it probably is also likely they add value over time if the artist/creator get's more known etc and you can potentially sell the piece for more than you bought it initially.
So even tho I understand people saying they don't understand the value of NFTs – maybe look at it from a different point of view and you'll find that value 💕 and additionally to that trust me every artist makes a little jump when they see their art has been sold and knowing it is on someone's digital wall or on their mind is equally as beautiful as filling a traditional space 🥰
with that said, if you want to check out my art, I sell both on opensea and nftshowroom
and here's my socials 💖 thanks for taking the time to listen to my mind and watching me in my bedroom hehe
