I created this artwork 2 years ago. Oh yes, I have a lot to update here, so bear with me. This piece conveys a sense of calm and spiritual connection. The floating figure in a meditative pose suggests introspection and serenity. The use of purple and blue colors can evoke feelings of tranquility and mystery, while the orange spheres add a touch of energy and vitality. STEP 1 / PASO 1:
Creation of the Sketch, Here I show the sketch with very clean lines of the main figure and some parts of the background.
Creación del Boceto, Aquí muestro el boceto con líneas muy limpias de la figura principal y algunas partes del fondo.
STEP 2 / PASO 2:
I apply the base color to grayscale, to define the tones and shadows of the image.
Aplico el color base a la escala de grises, para definir los tonos y las sombras de la imagen.
STEP 3 / PASO 3:
Definition of details. In this step I started to work the shadows and lights of the woman's figure, always working with gray tones.
Definición de los detalles. En este paso comencé a trabajar las sombras y luces de la figura de la mujer, siempre trabajando con tonos grises.
STEP 4 / PASO 4:
I finish detailing the woman's body, and start working on the background. In this part I decided to add a tree with its roots attached to the body. This tree is a bonsai that surrounds the body of the figure.
Termino de detallar el cuerpo de la mujer y empiezo a trabajar en el fondo. En esta parte decidí añadir un árbol con las raíces pegadas al cuerpo. Este árbol es un bonsái que rodea el cuerpo de la figura.
STEP 5 / PASO 5:
Color test. To add color to the image I am creating, I use an overlay layer. In this part I start experimenting with some dark colors.
Prueba de color. Para añadir color a la imagen que estoy creando, utilizo una capa superpuesta. En esta parte empiezo a experimentar con algunos colores oscuros.
STEP 6 / PASO 6:
Color correction. Oh yes, I realized that the colors I was using were not ideal, and I also realized that I had to fix the background. So that's what I did, I fixed the background, and started trying other colors, until I found the right one.
Corrección del color. Ah, sí, me di cuenta de que los colores que estaba usando no eran los ideales, y también me di cuenta de que tenía que arreglar el fondo. Así que eso es lo que hice, arreglé el fondo, y empecé a probar otros colores, hasta que encontré el adecuado.
STEP 7 / PASO 7:
Now I add the hair, also work on the bonsai tree, and give it color. I worked more on the details of the skin, adding lights from the background.
Ahora añado el pelo, también trabajo en el árbol bonsai, y le doy color. Trabajé más en los detalles de la piel, añadiendo luces del fondo.
𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐑𝐓 / 𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐎
I make the final touches. After coloring the skin, I continue painting more details on the color, I add some golden spheres, to give it contrast with the purple tones. To finish, I add a color balance filter to my work.
Hago los últimos retoques. Después de colorear la piel, sigo pintando más detalles sobre el color, añado unas esferas doradas, para darle contraste con los tonos morados. Para terminar, añado un filtro de balance de color a mi trabajo.
