Digital Art: My Wounds Bloom

The sides of a nostalgic story intertwine with the gravity of a failed sentiment.
Misinterpretations are present in the momentum of time.
Open wounds, sharp words that spoil the engine of life.
Hallucinations overlap with the rebirth of confusion.
To let it do any harm is to accept the wrong blame.
Nascent roots that harmonize from the depths.
Spell of flowers that sprout avoiding scars.
They break the circumstances, becoming submissive.
Thus filling the empty spirit with nectar.

ᕼEᒪᒪO, ᗯEᒪᑕOᗰE TO ᗰY PᑌRPᒪE ᗯORᒪᗪ 🟣

This artwork was born from a dream, yes, that's right, I dreamt of all the pain I was going through, all the storms, and I dreamt I was crying, and the tears were projected into reality, I felt those tears on my face, also in the dream was the solution to everything, I dreamt how all the wounds were healing, yes I was blooming. That's how the inspiration was born and I created this wonderful piece based on my healed feelings.

TEᑕᕼᑎIᑕᗩᒪ IᑎᖴORᗰᗩTIOᑎ:

I work with an Huion Kamvas 20.
Laptop.
Photoshop CC 2019 program.
Drawing Dimensions: 5000x4000 pixels.

PROᑕESS Oᖴ ᗪRᗩᗯIᑎG:

STEP 1:

The first thing I did was a sketch with some crazy or messy lines, then I blurred the lines, and created clean lines in a way that would help me see the figure better.

STEP 2:

Base colors of the work, I work with gray colors at the beginning, I really use this method in all my works of art, in this step it helps me a lot to generate a contrast between the body and the background.

STEP 3:

I start adding details to the body, I continue using gray tones, but this time only darker than the previous step to focus and highlight shadows and more details.

STEP 4:

Add color. I must say that in this part I hesitated a lot to add color, because I don't know if it has ever happened to you that you want to do something and you are afraid of what others will say, I mean that here in this piece I changed a little the color with which I have been working, and well this has happened to me a lot and it is frustrating, hehehe I don't know if I can explain, the fact is that in this step I tried many colors, it is one of the most difficult parts for me.

STEP 5:

Add color to the background, flowers and textures. After adding the body colors, which took a few hours, it was time to focus on the background, and again it took a few hours, but I managed to create a beautifully textured background, I really liked mixing these colors, I felt like I could let go a little more, yes, I was a little more free, then I started to add color to the plants.

STEP 6:

Define details. After choosing the colors, I started to detail, to add lights in the skin, reflections in the background, I also worked on the hair, and what took me the longest was the face, in short, what I do is detailing and detailing.

To finish, I added floating petals, and other debris in the background, apply a very low motion filter, also use color balance, so you can mix all the colors. And I think that's it, I had a lot of fun creating this piece.
