At first I was quite impressed with the things I saw on youtube or on some instagram page where people shared their creations and I couldn't believe that these types of illustrations were created by an AI simply by giving it written commands of what you wanted to obtain since I was using Dall-e and the creations weren't even close in quality to what Midjourney can do, and what I find most incredible is that it's a bot that runs on Discord, it's not even a separate app or program that you have to install and be exclusively for that.
These are a few of the things I asked the Bot to do.
In these I asked the bot to make me a skeleton sharpening his sword in a dark and foggy environment, I could notice that he has quite a few problems when creating hands and faces and that he only makes a bunch of shapes where they should be and that It really doesn't bother me since it gives a more supernatural aura to the creations by not having well-defined faces or hands.
In this image the skeleton is like conjuring some kind of magic, in neither of the two images is he sharpening his sword but he has something in his hand that can be interpreted as a weapon and with the other he is conjuring some kind of magic and it's excellent.
As some of you know, my last piece that was published in @nftshowroom is called, "The eyeless warlock and his servant" so I wanted to see what the Bot would do if I asked him something similar and I added the word "dragon" to be more specific in creation. and these were the results. I must say that I liked them a lot and maybe I will take some as a reference for future drawings.
In this one I can interpret that the Bot took the words "fire" and "dragon" and merged them making a kind of dragon or phoenix behind the warlock and his servant and he protects them with his wings and I really like that interpretation.
In this one the request was the same, the creation of that creature was what disturbed me the most, in a good way, I can't give it much coherence other than the giant skull that looks directly at the warlock but even so I really like what it created.
Again the same request, there were several variations of it since I wanted to see if I could do something similar to what I did but it was not like that, in this one it was a single character with a halo of fire with a slightly more stylized pose.
This generated image is a bit similar to the one above except that he is conjuring fire with both hands.
Cyberpunk is an art style that I really like and that I have done throughout my years drawing so I wanted to see what midjourney would give me when I told him to make a cyberpunk samurai with a long katana as an arm surrounded by buildings and flowers and this was the result, the samurai is a bit distorted although being cyberpunk, anything goes, the background and the out of focus petals was what I liked the most about this illustration.
In this image you can appreciate much more the armor of the samurai and you can see incredible details in it, the arms and they are non-existent but in the same way, being a cyberpunk style, the composition of the samurai can be understood more, here the petals remain out of focus and that foggy background that I really like.
In this request I went much more supernatural and metaphysical by asking the Bot to make me an image of God and an archangel on the edge of the universe, these were the two images that I liked the most, that ray of light I don't know how to interpret it since appears in both images, perhaps it is the edge of the universe as a gap that divides everything, the images of the archangels are incredible.
In this the image of what seems to me is God in the center of the image with a halo of light behind, it is incredible since not knowing his image the bot simply a took a humanoid image, surrounds it with clouds and stars and with a halo of light gives it that feeling of divinity that never ceases to amaze me.
My conclusion, should we traditional artists worry about the trajectory to which this type of tools is going? I don't think so, in my opinion, it's just a tool that many of us, like me, will use to find an image of what we want to do and use it as a reference, just as digital art somewhat overshadowed traditional art, these artificial intelligence tools will only be to make the experience of creating art easier. what I do think is that many charlatans will want to take advantage of people with this type of tool and you have to be very careful with that.

I think many charlatans are already taking advantage of this generative art for NFT opportunities. But, eventually, everything will balance out and i think overall it will be a great tool to further the evolution and progress of art in general. Cheers bro! You got some really good results.
Those are my thoughts exactly, NFT markets will be and probably already are full of wannabe artist trying to rip the money out of clueless art collectors, thanks bro.
Moereover, if i'm not mistaken, using midjourneys outputs to make NFT is breaching midjourney's licence... (that was at least the case some weeks ago).
