Alien-ish makeup

I wanted to do a grungy makeup look with gray tones and when I started to use the black eyeshadow, there were a lot of fallouts and they were quite hard to clean/fix since I have a foundation on. I also wasn't used to the "dark first, then light colors" technique so I ended up having a panda eyes with the black eyeshadow just being way too much from what I originally intended haha.

Since it was so messy, I tried saving it by adding shimmers on top which usually goes good with a black eyeshadow underneath. I wanted to use more colors this time but still mindful of the colors I choose so they don't look too random.

I loved it and surprisingly the shimmers also showed up very vividly on top of the black eyeshadow. I played a bit more by adding the pink lines and dots - which eventually reminded me of an alien design. :P

I added a purple glitter liner around my lips too, and a glitter lip gloss and I think they went well with each other.

This is the eyeshadow palette that I used for the glitters and the vivid pink. It's Kaleidos escape pod which tbh also is made for an alien theme look. :D

It's very surprising to have these colors so vivid and creamy lol. And I'm still quite pleased with how it turned out despite not what I have originally planned and was already about to just erase the whole thing and give up. Sometimes mistakes really does make you explore options and just because I accepted the mess and about to remove the makeup, it gave me worry-free experimentation which is really awesome. My works are usually always with worries lol so it was something fresh.
