Hello everyone, I'm Humansleep. This time I want to post my work again in the Alien Art Hive community. And here I will also share a work process whether it's drawing or sketching that I will later do as an effort to be seen and appreciated.
☢️ An area that is no longer viable.
The City that Lost Its Mind:
In a valley that was once fertile and prosperous, now stands the ruins of a desolate city. It was once known as a thriving center of civilization, where science and art flourished. However, everything changed when greed and lust for power crept into the hearts of its leaders.
Initially, the leaders of the region were wise men who prioritized the welfare of the people. They built strong infrastructure, developed education and encouraged trade. Over time, however, wealth and power began to blind them. They became greedy and power-hungry, resorting to any means to obtain it.
Corruption is rampant, the law is no longer enforced, and justice is a rare commodity. People who once lived in prosperity now live in poverty and fear. Those in power are getting richer, while the common people are suffering.
Not only that, corrupt leaders also began to pit the people against each other. They created divisions between tribes and religions, so that the people were hostile to each other and no longer united. As a result, the region became chaotic, with no more peace and tranquility.
When the region was destroyed from within, enemies from outside came to attack. They saw the weakness of the region and easily conquered it. The once prosperous and rich region now became a poor and backward colony.
People who once lived in luxury are now slaves and forced laborers. They lost their homeland, their families, and their future. All that remains is misery and despair.

This story is a reflection of a region destroyed by greed and loss of common sense. A once prosperous region, now a desolate ruin. A once peaceful region is now a battlefield.
May this story be a lesson for all of us, to never be tempted by greed and lust for power. Let us keep our common sense and conscience, so that we never do things that can destroy ourselves and others.
