Drawing of an Alien Blue creature

Hello folks! Today, I took a creative leap and sketched something a little out of this world. I drew an alien inspired figure, but with a twist. Instead of the usual green or gray tones we often associate with it, I went with blue. There’s something about blue that feels calm, mysterious, and almost perfect for capturing the vibe I was aiming for.

This wasn’t just a random choice of color. I’ve always been inspired by alien films and shows, and while most of them depict aliens in very specific ways, I wanted to break from that norm and reinterpret it through my own imagination. I imagined a being not just from another planet, but from an entirely different dimension one that radiates serenity instead of fear.

For the medium, I used a charcoal pencil to carve out the basic structure and give it that raw texture. Then, I added life and emotion using a crayon just blue, to keep the subject cool. The contrast between the softness of the crayon and my charcoal helped bring out a subtle depth in the drawing.

This piece was really about letting my imagination take place and giving form to something that doesn't have to follow a certain pattern. I love how it turned out and more than that, I love that it reflects a side of my creative process that’s been shaped by both contemporary and personal curiosity.
