Beautiful Artwork of ~ Mystical Nature

Hi Hiveians! Today I'd like to show you my latest pencil drawing directed to be mystical and magical in a great way! It took me about a week to illustrate, but I wanted to make it with love and my love for nature. 😀

I drew this using pencils and erasers, some q-tips, chalk (dry pastel) and colored pencils.

I have always had love for fairies and nature even if they say fairies are mythical. I just love the fact that they are just humans but with wings, I find it would be so nice to fly around whenever and wherever they want. At least we can still make good drawings and illustrations of them because of how cool they are. 😊

This was actually my first drawing on a bigger canvas that was 42cm wide and 31cm high. I find it good to have a bigger canvas to add more details and I liked it that way. What do you think?

Process:

First, draw the outline with pencils so we know where everything is going to go. Then add chalk (I used dry pastel chalk) in the middle of the flower.

After that, put the details that are on the sunflower. I like to add chalk first and smooth it out to give it a natural effect until we add the other nice features. Later, you might have to spray it with transparent spray-paint so that the chalk doesn't smudge around when we're done.

Next, draw everything else along with the petals and the stem, of course, with shading!
While I was drawing this, I often listened to music since it gave me rhythm, some good music always helps. My favorite one is the song "La Bicicleta" by Carlos Vives and Shakira. Later I found myself listening to it about 7 times in one day. 😂
