Hello everyone, I hope you are well, in this opotunity I bring you a digital drawing as one of the requirements to participate in the art contest in this week of Splinterlands, for this I take as reference the card of the Splinter of Life of the Reward collection of Soulbound Rebellion called Janni Rebel. The story of this card is the following:
Hola a todos, espero se encuentren bien, en esta opotunidad les traigo un dibujo digital como uno de los requisitos para participar en el concurso de arte en esta semana de Splinterlands, para ello tome como referencia la carta del Splinter de Vida de la coleccion Reward de Soulbound Rebellion llamada Janni Rebel. La historia de esta carta es la siguiente:
"Life djinn native to the Plane of Life, the jann of Praetoria value balance and strive to live in harmony with the world around them.
With the Chaos Empire disrupting that balance and harmony, many of the jann have thrown their lot in with the Rifwatchers, leaving their homes in the Frigid Coasts and Northwest Lowlands to wage irregular warfare against the empire, erode its will, and restore order to Praetoria."
"Los jann de Praetoria, djinn de la vida nativos del Plano de la Vida, valoran el equilibrio y se esfuerzan por vivir en armonía con el mundo que los rodea.
Como el Imperio del Caos ha alterado ese equilibrio y esa armonía, muchos de los jann se han unido a los Vigilantes de la Grieta y han abandonado sus hogares en las Costas Frígidas y las Tierras Bajas del Noroeste para librar una guerra irregular contra el imperio, erosionar su voluntad y restaurar el orden en Praetoria."
To make this illustration I made a half body focusing on the anatomy of the human body to practice in the proportions of the elements that make it up, for this I had to look for a base image to guide me with what I had in mind for the character and thus combine it with the protagonist of the post, I found a reference image with the main features I was looking for, on the Pinterest platform, guided by the history of the letter and what I had in mind I was making several changes to the character, I finished it with a total of about 7 hours, so I'll show you several images of the process of this character.
Para hacer esta ilustracion hice un medio cuerpo centrandome en la anatomia del cuerpo humano para poder practicar en las proporciones de los elementos que lo conforman, para esto tuve que buscar una imagen base para poder guiarme con lo que tenia pensado para el personaje y asi combinarlo con el protagonista del post, encontre una imagen de referencia con las principales caracteristicas que estaba buscando, en la plataforma de Pinterest, guiandome con la historia de la carta y lo que tenia pensado fui realizando varias cambios al personaje, lo culmine con un total 7 horas aproximadamente, asi que les voy a mostrar varias imagenes del proceso de este personaje.
Process
In the first phase of the drawing I started with the sketch, making the pose that the character was going to have starting from the reference image, making the proportions of the body by means of guide strokes and then making the face continuing with the coloring stage.
En la primera fase del dibujo inicie por el boceto, haciendo la pose que iba a tener el personaje partiendo de la imagen de referencia, realizando las proporciones del cuerpo mediante trazos guias para luego ir haciendo el rostro continuando con la etapa del coloreado.
In the coloring stage, selecting the main ones according to the main reference, I placed the tones of the main character, starting with the whole body and then adding details through the process.
En la etapa del coloreado, seleccionando los principales segun la referencia principal, fui colocando los tonos del personaje principal, comenzando por todo el cuerpo para luego ir agreagandole detalles mediante el proceso
