Bunny, Peace and Sunshine 💛. An illustration that is born from a feeling.

Hey, Hey, here's the @lacochinaensalsa!

Bunny, Peace and Sunshine is an illustration that was born from a longing. Far from the everyday things of what one as a human being can desire, I have always wanted tranquility as a priority. That bunny lying down represents peace, tranquility. My health lately has not been the clearest and most stable, darkening my surroundings a bit, but thank God I have had and maintained that inner peace.

By this time last year I was really emotionally broken, my health had also declined and I fell into a kind of depression. Whether we accept it or not, many things can help you not to reach those heavy lines. In my case, drawing and working are things that I love, they help me feel useful and think about different things than just the abyss. Don't judge me, it's my way of helping myself deal with negative emotions. Currently I spend more time drawing, whether traditionally or digitally, because it is something that comforts me immensely. It is my creative medicine, my sunshine.

About Bunny, Peace and Sun, I can say that it is one of the prettiest and most tender illustrations I have ever created. I really loved the result, the harmony and the colors that have given life to the scene of my soul.

Let's quickly see Drawing process:

I started by making a quick sketch to help me position my character on the canvas. I then moved on to establishing cleaner lines which I blended together with the eraser tool, on some of the lines I changed the thickness of my brush to give them more emphasis. After outlining, I moved on to the base color stage. Having finished the base color phase, I moved on to placing details and textures. In this type of illustration I feel more freedom to play with textures, but under a "calmer" color palette. Then I moved on to a stage of lights and shadows, to achieve some effects I have used the luminosity and fusion layers.
