I'm glad to be present in this round of "Splinterlands Art Contest Week 320!". The truth is that I'm organizing my day better and I find time to do my illustrations in at least two or three sessions. The important thing is to follow through! For this occasion I was inspired by: Eternan Brune.
Creating this illustration was quite fun. I did it in separate sessions between, outlining - base colors - details and background. I love working with textures, and drawing a Viking style outfit was exciting. This is the second time I've been inspired by a character like Eternan Brune, anthropomorphic characters I think will become my favorites. One of the complications when making the illustration was initially the airbrushed and blurred areas, so I decided to use those tools less. I opted for more solid textures and shadows, I liked it better that way. Then it was the background, I made several backgrounds, but I didn't like any of them haha. Until I finally found the one I left to present the character to you.

Let's quickly see Drawing process:
I started with a quick sketch. Then I moved on to a more defined outline, simultaneously doing clean-up. I like it this way because it allows me to save more time later and, above all, not forget details when it comes to the complete clean-up. After the initial outline, I moved on to a more detailed stage. I love the style of framing that comes from mixing different thicknesses of outline.
