Splinterlands Art Contest | Fungus Flinger

It's another week for the splinterlands art contest and this is my submission, this time I chose to recreate the Fungus flinger, a card in the earth unit.

Fungus Flingers are small creatures that are so accurate in throwing little bits of fungus at any perceived threat or danger and the outcome of the attack leaves an unpleasant outcome. The fungus explode on contact, grounding enemies in the air and also blinding their then, they stay away from strangers and visitors and only apper when their colonies are threatened,

I started with a sketch of the entire thing, placing the mushrooms and other elements where needed, then I drew her facial features and made the lines thicker with ink. I then went ahead to add more volume to her hair and detailed the mushrooms. I used coloured pencils to shade some areas like in the original character, this was fun and I enjoyed the process....
