Hello Alien Art Friends! How are you?
Artwork release named "Memphis Colors".
In this painting, I want to provide a diverse range of eye-catching colors that attract and pique interest.
Inspired by the Memphis aesthetic, which features a variety of textures and colors, I hoped to gain a fresh perspective for my collection.
Memphis colors
Creative process
I took about two days between building the Memphis Palette, looking for references, and creating the artwork.
After assembling and finishing the grid of geometrical patterns, I started adding textures and colors from my gallery, which I enjoy using while occasionally blending street art and pop art.
I looked into ways to add a little color to the basic artwork created for the mid-journey woman model.
Using Photoshop, I combined geometric shapes to add my own style to the artwork and that little pop art impression.
Another references used for the Paleta and technique blend was loosely inspired by an artist I really appreciate, Kobra
I worked on the placement of the layers and their individual transparency to get this final result.
