Nimbledook Scout
Hello Alien art and Splinterlands community! I hope you are well! I come to leave you a post of one of the characters I chose (nimbledook scout), this time doing it in a different way, to tell you the truth I really liked the facial aspect of this character which I saw a lot of potential, so I decided to draw her, focusing on her face.
¡Hola comunidad de Alien art y Splinterlands! ¡Espero que se encuentren bien! Vengo a dejarles un post de uno de los personajes que elegí (nimbledook scout), esta vez haciéndolo de otra forma, a decir verdad me gustó mucho el aspecto facial de este personaje el cual le vi mucho potencial, así que decidí dibujarla, poniendo foco en su rostro.
I started with a pencil sketch as in all my drawings to have a central idea of what to do digitally, which took me a bit longer, as I couldn't decide whether to make her serious or smiling, which I ended up opting for a smile that I felt suited her aesthetics. As you can see my previous drawings stand out for making them full body and show a little more detail, but this time I decided to complete it in a portrait style that covers most of the resolution.
Empecé por el boceto a lápiz como en todos mis dibujos para tener una idea central de que pasar a digital, el cual si me llevo algo más de tiempo, ya que no me decidía si hacerla seria o sonriente, el cual termine optando por una sonrisa que sentí que se adaptó a su estética. Como observaran mis dibujos anteriores se destacan por realizarlas de cuerpo completo y mostrar un poco mas los detalles, pero esta vez me anime a completarla a un estilo de retrato que abarque gran parte de la resolución
Then I went through the lineart which I tried to do more carefully so as not to lose any facial details, I wanted to get an expressive face in its entirety for this participation and personal realization.
As for the colour I didn't make any changes because I thought it was appropriate to leave her original palette, as it matched her hair and I always like red hair. I thought it was convenient to focus on making her flashes both yellow and more brownish to give her that particular brightness that she keeps, without a doubt one of my favourite parts when it comes to giving her details. As for the eyes I felt that a more elongated and straight format would look better, which I modified and from my point of view gave more depth to the blue colour of them.
Luego pase por el lineart el cual trate de hacerlo con más cuidado para no perder ningún detalle facial, quería conseguir un rostro expresivo en su totalidad para esta participación y realización personal.
En cuanto al color no hice cambios porque creí adecuado dejarle su paleta original, ya que combinaba con su pelo y el cabello pelirrojo siempre me gusta. Crei conveniente centrarme en hacerle destellos tanto amarillos como más amarronados para darle ese brillo particular que mantiene, sin duda de mis partes favoritas a la hora de darle detalles. En cuanto a los ojos sentí que un formato más alargado y recto le quedarían mejor, lo cual modifique y desde mi punto de vista le otorgaba más profundidad al color azul de estos.
And at the last moment I remembered to make him his beak as I felt he was missing something else, although I concentrated on the face as I said before, I had to leave him a characteristic in terms of object, so that he doesn't lose the similarity with his original card. Y a último momento recordé hacerle su pico ya que sentía que le faltaba algo más, si bien me concentre en el rostro como dije anteriormente, tenía que dejarle una característica en cuanto a objeto, para que no pierda la similitud con su carta original. Espero que les guste mi participación para esta encuentro de artistas de esta semana.
