This painting is an experiment, I like to try different techniques. So there were layers upon layers of different layers.
It's always interesting to see what comes of it. I have a tendency to overwork my paintings, but stingy as I am, no painting is completely done, because I can paint over or keep certain parts.
I think some parts are super good, others less good. Here you can see the result!

This one has some monarch colors in it. I like the snail shell spirals in the wings.
Yes, it could have been better. I have broken my collarbone. Have an X-ray and they hadn't healed, so they're talking about surgery. Can't wait to paint again! Thank you dear!
Ouch collar bones are tricky. I once separated my sternal clavicular joint and it took forever to heal. Are you taking any calcium and vitamin D supplements?
Yes, I take all kinds of vitamins and periodically I drink birch tick, a fungus that grows on birch!
Yeah the birch polypore is great for anticancer properties. I take lion's mane extracts and chaga (similar to birch polypore). Golden paste is also a good anti-inflammatory concoction to reduce pain. Its just tumeric mixed with black pepper with some added ingredients to help with taste. Works better than many of the different NSAIDs I've tried after surgery. https://foolproofliving.com/turmeric-paste/
What a cool art piece!! Loved it 💗
