Hola a todos! Regresé! 😅

Me gusta tomarles fotos...

No olviden tomar awuita yyyy adiós! 🌼🐝🌈

Hello everyone! I'm back 😅

Before I start with today's drawing, I want to apologize for not posting these days. My absence was due to personal matters that don't give me time to draw. But I thought of ideas for next drawings and I'm already getting to work on them, so soon I will bring you new drawings that I hope you will like!

Today's drawing I loved it because it exceeded my expectations. I really liked the result and the process of making it was fun.

While I was painting the little bees, it occurred to me to name this character "Zoe". I thought of the words "buzzing bee" and thought a name starting with the letter Z would sound great.

One of the things I love to draw the most (and do even without much thought) are flowers. I love flowers 🥰. I like to take pictures of them.... Maybe one day I'll share some of them with you.

I also like bees and that's why I wanted to draw some. They are simple, but they look similar.

For this drawing I was inspired by the things I like, so this drawing is me but prettier 😅.

At first I didn't see it like that; it was just a girl I started drawing. But the more I made strokes and added details to the drawing, I started noticing the resemblance to me. And not so much in the physical, but in the personality.

Every time I draw a character I think about what that character would be like if she were real or part of a cartoon: her name, her tastes, her clothes, among other things, and I form a story in my head. That way it becomes easier for me to draw.

Today I drew Zoe: an 11-year-old girl who loves flowers and plants and is very curious about the insects in her backyard, especially bees.

Zoe learned about the importance of bees recently in a class. Since then, every time one is in trouble, Zoe saves it and places it on a little leaf and waits for it to fly again and perform its super bee duties.....

And that's all for today!

Thanks for giving me a little bit of your time. Don't forget to leave me a comment with your opinions and/or suggestions, I'll gladly read them.

Have a nice day. Don't forget to take water anddd bye! 🌼🐝🌈

Great job. Zoe turned out really nice. I like the transition from pencil to ink. Your coloring was smooth and well done. I like that you had the leaves and nature around for inspiration and part of the photographic process of your progress. Awesome post. Keep up the great work. And that bee is too cute.

Hi @castleberry! Thank you so much for the comment, glad to hear you liked this drawing too. Yes, I got a lot of inspiration when taking the photos and what better inspiration than nature 😊. I will keep working on making good posts.

That's what i like to hear! =)

Zoe is quite pretty, and I am sure you are too!
Your shading is developing beautifully. I absolutely love the beautiful flowers! And Zoe's expression is fantastic. I love the subtle shading in her eyes.

I know, I know, I seem to talk about the eyes in your portraits a lot, but I really do find them beautiful!

Thanks for the compliment 😅. You see? I'm trying harder! Doing the flowers was a lot of detailed work for me, but I've always loved drawing tiny things and flowers. I'm also continuing to develop my eye style and I think they're becoming more and more integrated into my overall drawing style.
