Emote Ocean Healer! 🌊

I'm back with new content after a few days off. During this time I set as a goal to start collecting to acquire a portable tablet to draw, which has motivated me. Today I want to share with you a new version of the character Ocean Healer but as an emote. I really like this style and although I still need to learn how to animate them I'm very satisfied with the final result, I hope you like this version and without further ado I'll leave you with my process! 👇

He vuelto con nuevo contenido luego de unos días de descanso. Durante este tiempo me propuse como meta comenzar a reunir para adquirir una tablet portable para dibujar, lo cual me tiene motivado. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una nueva versión del personaje Ocean Healer pero como un emote. Este estilo me ha gustado muchísimo y aunque aun me falta aprender a animarlos estoy muy satisfecho con el resultado final, ¡espero les guste esta versión y sin mas los dejo con mi proceso!👇

Sketch and Lineart:
This little idea started from a thumbnail sketch, being an emote I wanted it to look with a great expression and quite charismatic. Once I had the sketch ready, I was cleaning the lines with a large pen brush.
Esta pequeña idea comenzó a partir de un boceto en formato thumbnail, al tratarse de un emote quería que se viera con una gran expresión y bastante carismático. Una vez tenia listo el boceto, fui limpiando las líneas con un pincel tipo pluma de tamaño grande.
Base Colors:
Then apply gray color to the whole character and apply the base colors in several layers separately.
Luego aplique color gris a todo el personaje y aplique los colores base en varias capas por separado.
Shadow application and final details:
For the shadows I used the cell shading style in purple to give volume to the character. Then I added some shimmers in the hair and blush on the face, all in a very simple way. Then I painted the whole lineart, changed the background to white and put a yellow rectangle to introduce the character.
Para las sombras usé el estilo cell shading en color violeta para darle volumen al personaje. Luego añadí unos brillos en el pelo y rubor en la cara, todo de manera muy simple. Después pinté todo el lineart, cambie el fondo a color blanco y puse un rectángulo de color amarillo para presentar al personaje.

To finish add some stars, some texture to the hat and rectangle and glitter in the center of the character.
Para finalizar agregue unas estrellas, algo de textura al gorro y rectángulo y brillos en el centro del personaje.
