Hello Everyone
How are you?
I hope you're doing well and leading a sound life. I will bring you another one of my artwork today. This one is also a digital drawing fan art of a monster of Splinterlands. I drew this one to participate in the weekly art contest arranged by @splinterlands. I'll add the link to the contest at the end. Check it out if you feel interested. In this post, I'll share my drawing process, my tools and how I drew a fan art version of the original card quite different from the original. I hope you like my version.
The monster I drew today is named Obsidian. I used my laptop, graphics tablet, stylus drawing touch pen, and a drawing software named ibis Paint. I'll attach my drawing and the original image below and you can check it out. I'll also add the link to the contest at the end of my post. So, let's get started:-

My Drawing
The process began as usual as by sketching the structure of the character first. This time I choose a sharp version of the 2B pencil that I use to draw the sketch normally. After that I used a thin but sharp and deep brush to draw some bold lines in some certain parts.
I began the colouring process by adding the primary colours. I choose to complete her skin part firstly.
Then I put some deeper colour strokes with a smooth brush on the edges and some white strokes with the spray brush tool in the middle to draw the shades and the glow of the skin parts.
And then, I started the colouring pricess of the rest of her body part. i began with her hair and the brasier and then put the primary coloyr to the rest of her cloting and body parts. Once I was done witg the primary colours. i began the shading process by adding the deeper and ligjter colour layers one by one. To draw these shades, the spray brush tool and the blending tools were really useful.
After I was done with the colouring and shading, this was the result I got. But, it isn’t final yet. I have to do a lot of work to finalize her weapon, hand and background too
In this step, I drew her jewels such as her crown, bracelets and in the end her weapon too. I also finalized the drawing of the golden parts of her dress and jewellery that were left half-done in the last step.
And in this step, I drew the background. I first added a blue colour layer on the background and then added the details one by one by adding various colour layers.
I hope you like my work. I'd love to hear your thoughts about my work in the comment section. Your suggestions and criticisms help me to improve my skills. Also, you can follow my profile for more if you like my work.
