Hello Everyone
How are you?
I hope you're doing well and leading a sound life. I will bring you another one of my artwork today. This one is also a digital drawing fan art of a monster of Splinterlands. I drew this one to participate in the weekly art contest arranged by @splinterlands. I'll add the link to the contest at the end. Check it out if you feel interested. In this post, I'll share my drawing process, my tools and how I drew a fan art version of the original card quite different from the original. I hope you like my version.
The monster I drew today is named Prunda Undervesch. I used my laptop, graphics tablet, stylus drawing touch pen, and a drawing software named ibis Paint. I'll attach my drawing and the original image below and you can check it out. I'll also add the link to the contest at the end of my post. So, let's get started:-

My Drawing
The process began by sketching the structure of the character first. I used a 2B pencil to draw the primary structure and then used an HB pencil and a 4B pencil to make the borderlines bolder and also to draw the darker parts of the sketch.
Since I was done sketching the structure, I began the colouring process by adding the primary colours to its body and clothing parts. I did those processes step by step. Such as I added the primary colour to a part first and then did the shading and glowing process. After that, I moved on to another part and did the same.
For the shading and glowing part, I used the spray brush tool a smooth brush and the blending tools to blend in all those shades and the colour layers. In this first step, I completed the colouring process of her head, arms, hair and crown too.
And then I began the colouring process of the lower part of her body. I also completed the rest of the shading of her hair and the crown. Then I added the primary colours and began the shading process starting with her top clothing part.
I decided to complete her dress first and then the lower body part of her. And after the shading was done, I also added some small details to make the dress look finer.
I was almost done with the drawing in the previous step. But, her weapon was left and I also decided to add some glitters as decoration. Just as I added the glitters to her dress in the previous step.
I also added this glow of power line around her weapon. I had the colours darkened and made deeper with layers of black shades and I kept the transparency level at 45%.
In this part, I drew the background for the drawing. I decided to keep it simple. Simple enough to represent the water of the ocean only.
