Splinterlands Fan Art: ULOTH DHAMPIR. Weekly Art Contest - 301.

in Alien Art Hive4 months ago (edited)

Hello Everyone.

How are you?

I hope you're doing well and leading a sound life. I will bring you another one of my artwork today. This one is also a digital drawing fan art of a monster of Splinterlands. I drew this one to participate in the weekly art contest arranged by @splinterlands. I'll add the link to the contest at the end. Check it out if you feel interested. In this post, I'll share my drawing process, my tools and how I drew a fan art version of the original card quite different from the original. I hope you like my version.

The monster I drew today is named Uloth Dhampir. I used my laptop, graphics tablet, stylus drawing touch pen, and a drawing software named ibis Paint. I'll attach my drawing and the original image below and you can check it out. I'll also add the link to the contest at the end of my post. So, let's get started:-

My Drawing

At first, I sketched the structure of the character using a 2B pencil tool. It was quite tricky to do with all those details. And mainly, as you can see I also changed the character design and body posture a lot. This made the job a lot harder. I had to manually measure and draw every part of her body.

In this part, I began the colouring process. To do that I added the primary colours first. I added a green colour layer and put a dark shade above it. And then used the bending tool to mix the colours to bring out the shades.

In this step, I drew her eyes and eyebrows first and then drew her nails and lips. I also designed her eyes according to the theme of the main character.

Then in this step, I began the colouring process of her dress and weapon step by step.

Then I drew her hair, added the primary colours and finalized the shading process it.

After I was done with her skin and hair part, I started to work with the dress. Before now I only added the primary colour to her dressing part. But, in this part, I started working on the shading process of her dress and weapon.

Then in this step, I erased all the sketch parts and also started to work on her weapon. I also drew her necklace on her neck in this step.

After some finishing touches to make the edges smoother and some glowing touches, here is the result. I also added a few designs to her weapon.

Final Part

After some finishing touches with the main character and the background, here's is the final result of my drawing.

I hope you like my work. I'd love to hear your thoughts about my work in the comment section. Your suggestions and criticisms help me to improve my skills. Also, you can follow my profile for more if you like my work.
