Hello Everyone
How are you?
I hope you're doing well and leading a sound life. I will bring you another one of my artwork today. This one is also a digital drawing fan art of a monster of Splinterlands. I drew this one to participate in the weekly art contest arranged by @splinterlands. I'll add the link to the contest at the end. Check it out if you feel interested. In this post, I'll share my drawing process, my tools and how I drew a fan art version of the original card quite different from the original. I hope you like my version.
The monster I drew today is named VAMPIRIC BLOSSOM. I used my laptop, graphics tablet, stylus drawing touch pen, and a drawing software named ibis Paint. I'll attach my drawing and the original image below and you can check it out. I'll also add the link to the contest at the end of my post. So, let's get started:-

My Drawing
The process began by drawing a sketch of the structure. I used a 2B pencil tool to do it. You may think it was a piece of cake to do as this is not a human or that sort of monster character. But, it wasn't easy at all. I wouldn't say it was too complicated but not an easy one too.
Then I began the colouring process by adding the primary colours to it.
I kept on working on the shading process while adding the primary colours to the rest of the sketch. You can see that I added a dark shade using the spray brush tool and then used the blending option to blend in the colours and put a shade on its mouth part representing the shadow.
I put a white smooth stroke to bring out the glossy shade of its tongue.
Then in this step, I finished the shading process of its face part and the leaves around its neck. You can see that I sharted by completing its teeth and then the parts around it. And in the end, I put the shading colours to the leaves. I added these shades using the spray brush and then the blending tool.
And then I sharted the shading process of the lower part of the character. I first finished the shading of the main body and then added the primary colours to its creeper parts. Then after I was done with the shading of that part, I drew some leaves on it to make it look more realistic and match the character theme too.
In this step, I drew the background.
