Hello everyone! I hope you all are well.
Today, my exams are finally over, and I am feeling so happy. After such a long time, I am finally getting back into my routine. It felt like this day would never come, but now that the pressure of exams is off, I am experiencing a kind of relief I havenot felt in a while. My daily routine, which had been completely disturbed due to exams, is now slowly getting back on track.
I am thinking about how to make my days more productive and enjoyable. I plan to get back into some old hobbies I had put aside. Maybe I will also spend some time with friends, since we havenot hung out in ages. Getting back to my routine feels like the start of a new chapter in my life.
So today, I tried to make something new, like digital art. I have always been curious about it, but never really took the time to try. Today I started playing around with the tools. At first, it felt a little overwhelming – so many options and brushes but after a while I started to get the hang of it. I decided to create a luminous eagle, with a background.
PROCEDURES
I start with simple shapes a circle for the head, an oval for the face, and a triangle for the mouth. Connect them with a curved scratches line for the neck. Adding a piercing eye.
Then start making a body of a character.
Add long, curved shapes for the wings, extending out from the body.
Add short, strong legs ending in sharp talons. These are usually tucked under the body somewhat.
Instead of individual feathers, suggest them with short, overlapping strokes along the wings and body. Think of the direction they grow in.
So my sketching is ready. Now I start colouring them.
COLOURING
As I added colors and textures, I felt like I was discovering a new way to express my creativity.
Use a slightly lighter shade of yellow for the head or face.
The wings can have a mix of browns and lighter greys. You can add some subtle variations to suggest the different textures of the feathers.
Also added a yellow colour in the feet. Start with a brown for the main body. Apply it too dark.
Use darker browns or white to add shadows under the wings and on the underside of the body. This will give the eagle more depth and dimension.
After adding sketching and colouring in the body I add the background of blue.
Here's the final look of my character.
This is the original character:
This is my first digital art experience. I hope you all like it. The best part was how easy it was to make changes and experiment without any pressure. By the end, I had something I was actually proud of, and it felt so rewarding to see how much I could accomplish in just a few hours. It is definitely something I want to explore more.
Support me and help me to improve more.
Don't forget to give me a feedback.
Allah Hafiz and take care.

Greetings friend, I'm reading posts in the community and I had to stop to see your art. I really love eagles and birds of prey in general, I really like to know the process of how you achieved the piece.
Thanks for appreciation 😊
