¡Hola amigos! El fanart de esta semana para el concurso de arte de splinterlands está inspirado en GOBALANO SOLDIER
To represent this character I have made a digital illustration, using the pixel art technique.
Para representar a este personaje he realizado una ilustración digital, usando la técnica del pixel art.
Starting with the creation of a sketch with black pixels, to which I added the necessary elements that characterize this character, among them, the evil smile, the hat, the cigarette, the earring in the ear, among others.
Empezando con la creación de un boceto con pixeles negros, al cual le agregué los elementos necesarios que caracterizan a este personaje, entre ellos, la sonrisa malvada, el sombrero, el cigarrillo, el arete en la oreja, wntre otros.
Once the sketch was ready, I started the coloring process. Copying the color palette of the original character, the first thing I did was to apply a base color.
Una vez listo el boceto, inicié el proceso de coloreado. Copiando la paleta de colores del personaje original lo primero que hice fué aplicar una base de color.
Then I continue with the application of the shadows and highlights.
Posteriormente prosigo con la aplicación de las sombras y luces.
I should mention that this coloring process is general and is repeated in each part of the drawing, since I usually work the coloring in parts, so the coloring process that I usually do consists of the application of the base color, and then apply the shading and lights.
So I will leave you the rest of the images taken during the process.
Debo mencionar que este proceso de coloreado es general y se repite en cada parte del dibujo, ya que suelo trabajar el coloreado por partes, asi que el proceso de coloreado que realizo usualmente consta de la aplicacion de la base de color, para posteriormente aplicar el sombreado y las luces.
Asi que les dejaré el resto de imágenes tomadas durante el proceso.
Once the coloring of the character was finished, the only thing left to do was to add a background.
Una vez finalizado el coloreado del personaje, solo restaba agregarle un fondo.
And that would be it!
