Hello everyone, greetings and I hope you are all very well, today I show you my eighth post, the eighth day was a fluidity practice, I've noticed that my sketches look quite stiff and lifeless so I picked this illustration in specific because I loved how alive and fluid the character and the line look.

First, I practiced a bit to analyze the feathers, generally speaking, drawing feathers is a bit complex since they are like layers and layers one on top of the other and one larger than the other but in a certain specific order, but at the same time, the longest feather or even the entire wing can move in a certain way in which yes, they tend to make the silhouette of the wing and the fluidity of the feathers look more interesting, of course, it’s something that requires practice and study to be able to accurately represent, and this doodle is not even close to being that study, however, I need to learn from the references that I use, if effort and interest in learning are not put into the simplest sketch there is no reason to draw at all.

Returning to the drawing, I was making very clean lines, which is not bad, it’s the goal, but I was tempted to do detail and dedicate much more time to this sketch that is supposed to be a quick practice, there is nothing wrong with putting details into drawings or improving sketches, in fact, it’s my obsession but the idea is to develop self-control and know when it is time to do a practice that doesn’t have to be perfect and when to make an illustration that will not be perfect either but does require more time and effort, the silhouette didn’t convince me so I wanted to create noise to fill space so I made dirtier lines to intuit the figures better.

Finally I cleaned the lines where I wanted to emphasize the figure or correct the silhouette of the drawing in general, I corrected the position of two of the wings because they didn’t make much sense compared to the reference, I gave more intensity to several lines and gave them a little more detail to the feathers, I cleaned the figure, giving it much more definition, it still looks like a pretty dirty sketch but I ended up liking it.

Hola a todos, saludos y espero que se encuentren muy bien, hoy les muestro mi octavo post, el octavo día fue una práctica de fluidez, he notado que mis bocetos se ven bastante rígidos y sin vida así que elegí esta ilustración en específico porque me encantó lo vivo y fluido que se ve el personaje y la línea.

Primero practiqué un poco para analizar las plumas, en general, dibujar plumas es un poco complejo ya que son como capas y capas una encima de la otra y una más grande que la otra pero en cierto orden específico, pero al mismo tiempo. la pluma más larga o incluso el ala entera se puede mover de cierta manera en la cual sí, tienden a hacer que la silueta del ala y la fluidez de las plumas se vean más interesantes, claro, es algo que requiere práctica y estudio para poder representar con precisión, y este boceto no está ni cerca de ser ese estudio, sin embargo, para mí es importante aprender de las referencias que uso, si al boceto más simple no se pone esfuerzo e interés por aprender no hay razón para dibujar en absoluto.

Volviendo al dibujo, fui haciendo trazos muy limpios, lo cual no está mal, es el objetivo, pero me tentó mucho a hacer detalle y dedicarle mucho más tiempo a este boceto que se supone que es una práctica rápida, no tiene nada de malo. poner detalles en dibujos o mejorar bocetos, de hecho es mi obsesión, pero la idea es tener autocontrol y saber cuándo es el momento de hacer una práctica que no tiene por qué ser perfecta y cuándo hacer una ilustración que no lo será perfecta tampoco pero requiere más tiempo y esfuerzo, la silueta no me convencía así que quise crear ruido para llenar el espacio entonces hice líneas más sucias para intuir mejor las figuras.

Finalmente limpié las líneas donde quería enfatizar la figura o corregir la silueta del dibujo en general, corregí la posición de dos de las alas porque no tenían mucho sentido comparadas con la referencia, le di más intensidad a varias. líneas y les di un poco más de detalle a las plumas, limpié la figura dándole mucha más definición, todavía parece un boceto bastante sucio pero me terminó gustando.
