Algunos miembros de esta comunidad me conocen como Naye, personaje principal de uno de mis cuentos, otros como Cuarzo Rosa, y no es porque sea diamante o piedra, simplemente es mi seudónimo.
Solo tengo una manera para presentarme ante ustedes:
Malditas sean
las arrugas del tiempo
no recuerdo los columpios
de la infancia,
ni las trenzas
que en mi pelo se tejían.
En mis pies llevo
llagas escritas,
en mi garganta cuelga la sed.
Nada pido a la esperanza,
cuando el silencio
marchita mi sombra.
Solo busco
un epitafio en la orilla
un nicho en la arena ocre
de mis mares.
Es tarde para conocerme:
estoy muerta.
Mi nombre es Marlen, nací en La Habana y como auténtica cubana, vivo enamorada de su casco histórico.
Soy una profesional de las finanzas y mi trabajo consiste en minimizar los riesgos financieros.
Llego a ustedes mediante mis amigos del Curso de PRECEPTIVA Poética "Palabras con sombra de árbol" que se imparte por el WhatsApp.
Varios colegas de allí como @roswelborges, @maiasun84, @cumanauta, @iriswrite y @maylink me motivaron a navegar junto a ustedes. Al crear mi perfil considero que no estaban errados, la Plataforma, es un magnífico espacio para intercambiar culturas, y experiencias.
Es mi deseo emprender este nuevo proyecto, multiplicar mis conocimientos, y mostrar mis trabajos, además de conocer nuevas amistades con gustos afines a través de #ecency, ya sea de las Comunidad #hivecuba, o de las muchas otras que ya veo y me han dicho que existen.
Disfruto del buen arte, me inspiran las pinturas. En la música prefiero la instrumental: la entrada de los acordes del piano, el chelo o un violín me hacen vibrar.
También me encanta escribir, para mí la palabra es el alimento del alma. Esa que te libera y da vida.
Cada escrito es un hijo, lo amas de tal forma que no quieres desprenderte, hasta que llega el otro, y te cautiva nuevamente, para luego dejarlos correr.
En el mundo literario cuento con el asesoramiento de los prestigiosos escritores Ian Rodríguez, conocido por aquí como el @restaurador y Pablo Rigal Collado.
Mis letras han sido publicadas en varias Antologías entre ellas, Mi lugar, mi mundo y en la Revista española Azahar.
Mi pasión es contar con un libro físico, sentir el olor del papel y la tinta, pero considero que más gratificante es fomentar la lectura y la ilusión, sobre todo en los lectores más pequeños.
Como buena cubana, soy creativa a la hora de cocinar, no hay nada que disfrute más, que llevar a la mesa un plato colorido, y agradable al paladar.
Me gusta afrontar los desafíos, y como meta me propongo hacer estudios sobre tradiciones, creencias y empoderamiento de la mujer.
Agradezco a todos por llegar a mi perfil, y dejar un comentario que me ayude a fortalecer el trabajo creativo.

My name is Marlen, I was born in Havana and as a true Cuban, I am in love with its historic center.
I am a finance professional and my job is to minimize financial risks.
I come to you through my friends from the Poetic mandatory Course "Words with the shadow of a tree" which is taught on WhatsApp.
Several colleagues from there such as @roswelborges, @maiasun84, @cumanauta, @iriswrite and @maylink encouraged me to navigate with you. When creating my profile, I consider that they were not wrong, the Platform is a great space to exchange cultures and experiences.
It is my wish to undertake this new project, multiply my knowledge, and show my work, as well as meet new friends with similar tastes through #ecency, whether from the #hivecuba Community, or from the many others that I already see and have been told exist.
I enjoy good art, paintings inspire me. In music I prefer the instruments: the entrance of piano chords, cello or violin make me vibrate.
I also love to write, for me the word is the food of the soul. The one that frees you and gives you life.
Each writing is a child, you love it so much that you don't want to let go, until the next one comes, and captivates you again, to then let them run.
In the literary world I count on the advice of the prestigious writers Ian Rodríguez, known here as @restaurador and Pablo Rigal Collado.

My passion is to have a physical book, to feel the smell of paper and ink, but I consider that it is more rewarding to promote reading and illusion, especially in younger readers.
As a good Cuban, I am creative when it comes to cooking, there is nothing I enjoy more than bringing a colorful and pleasant dish to the table.
I like to face challenges, and as a goal I set out to study traditions, beliefs and women's empowerment.
