I share with you another illustration from Runiverse, in which they asked me to illustrate their character in my style of drawing. I'm not going to lie, it was an illustration that didn't take me a lot of time to do, but it did make me think a bit to work on it, but I'd better leave you the process of it.
Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Les comparto otra ilustración de Runiverse, en la cual me pidieron ilustración a mi estilo de dibujo su personaje. No les voy a mentir, fue una ilustracion que no me llevo mucho tiempo en hacer, pero que si me puso a pensar un poco para trabajarla, pero mejor les dejo el proceso de la misma.

I started making several ideas for the character, but none of them convinced me, so I went to Pinterest to see if I could find a picture I liked of a model, since I wanted to do it in a dynamic pose. I found a photo of a guy that I loved and I feel that it fit the character like a glove, so that's the one I took as a reference to structure the character.
Comencé haciendo varias ideas para el personaje, pero ninguna de ellas me convencía, así que me fui a Pinterest a ver si encontraba alguna foto que me gustara de algún modelo, ya que quería hacerlo en alguno pose dinámica. Encontré la foto ce un chico que me encanto y siento que le vino como anillo al dedo al personaje, así que fue la que tome como referencia para estructurar el personaje.

I integrated all that element of the original character to my version, but what I did was to adapt it a little to my style or how I interpreted it for him. After a while, I finally had the sketch finished and ready to start painting it. I always start adding a base color in the whole drawing and then I add the other colors for each area.
Integre todo aquel elemento del personaje original a mi versión, eso sí; lo que hice fue adaptarlo un poco a mi estilo o como yo le interpretaba para el mismo. Luego de un rato, por fin pude tener el boceto terminado y listo para comenzar a pintarlo. Siempre comienzo agregando un color base en todo el dibujo y luego voy agregando los demás colores para cada zona.

After I have all the base colors in the drawing, what I do next is to start detailing everything, which is where it takes me the longest to work on. The skin is the first thing I detail and then I continue with the other elements in the illustration. To detail the wrinkles and folds in the character's clothes, I looked up a couple of references to get an idea of how to do them.
Luego de tener todos los colores base en el dibujo, lo que hago después es comenzar a detallar todo, que es en donde mas tardo en trabajar. La piel es lo primero que detallo y luego sigo con los demás elementos en la ilustración. Para detallar las arrugas y pliegues en la ropa del personaje, busque un par de referencia para tener una idea de como hacerlas.

When I had all the character detailed, what I did was to work on the background, which I really only did a basic background, because the character took the center of attention. I also added the final details throughout the illustration and that was it folks, that would be it.
Cuando tuve todo el personaje detallado, lo que hice fue trabajar en el fondo, que la verdad solo le hice un fondo básico, porque el personaje se llevaba el centro de atención. También agregue los detalles finales en toda la ilustración y listo amigos, eso seria todo.
