Hola Hivers, hoy traje un modelado en blender para concursar en la competencia semanal de splinterlands, muchas gracias por elegir mi modelado la semana pasada y estar entre uno de los ganadores, me siento muy horrada ya que se que es difícil ganar debido a la calidad de artistas que hay en esta competencia, nada mas estar compitiendo con brakata es un reto grande ya que siempre he admirado su trabajo. Hello Hivers, today I brought a blender model to compete in the weekly splinterlands competition, thank you very much for choosing my model last week and being among one of the winners, I feel very horrified since I know that It is difficult to win due to the quality of artists in this competition, just being in competition with brakata is a big challenge since I have always admired their work. LORE: Several Lyverian farmers reported seeing a strange blue light rushing down from the sky one evening and landing with a crash in the fields. Later that evening, a strange metal-skinned device calling itself Rusty Android was making friends with the locals in the tavern.
MODLING PROCESS
- Body modeling: I did most of it using cubes, spheres and cylinders. Then for the material I did it thanks to the blenderkit addon that has a great library.
- I made the sci-fi corridor with a cube which I lengthened on the y-axis and I added details to it. Also for this corridor use the addon blender kit for the material.
Buen uso y manejo de las estructuras 3D, con fondos Sci-Fi y unos excelentes contornos y dimensiones. Tienes un gran talento y mucha suerte en el concurso, aunque tu trabajo ya es muy bueno.

Yes, i think it's annoying to not have the full art image. I wonder what the art looked like before they cropped it. It would be cool if Splinterlands made a website just for the art. I'm sure they have a lot of sketches and full sized images they used before deciding on a final version for the card art.

I just have a few suggestions to further improve your composition.
Give the background a little darker shading and less lighting.
Also, lower down the reflectivity of your android material.

You beat me last week with the goblin mech XD, thanks for your tips, I tend to exaggerate the reds in photoshop to make it look a bit like the terminator style but I think I did it too much this time.

I haven't finished mine yet for this weeks challenge. I'm still struggling in animating it. 😁
I gave up animating it, I feel like my computer is going to explode when I edit the weight paint , a lot of geometry XD.
It's really difficult to do stuff like that if you have a slow computer.
That's why I commend your effort and dedication.
I have an average PC but I am still learning rigging and animation so it's taking me a lot of time to figure things out. 🙂

graciass, puedes bajar versiones anteriores y hacer cosas allí también y aprendes como usarlo. Las versiones anteriores las soportan mas las computadoras con bajos recursos.
