[ENG/SPA] Deconstructed portraits - "Black Swan" (Motion)

in Alien Art Hive3 years ago

Hello friends of the Alien Art hive community, since a few days ago I am changing my approach to my work; Although I continue working with the same techniques I have thought of making a series of portraits trying to capture different effects.

The fact of combining superimpositions, drawing, oil, and anything that is within my reach gives me a great mobility to create but I would like the final result to be as similar to a painted portrait as possible.

For a long time one of my great references when creating is the great "Yossi Kotler", since I discovered his work I was fascinated by how he combines all these things that I use.

For me it is very satisfying when I use a reverse image search and the AI of google or any other platform and confuses a work completely mine with Yossi's work, it is a great honor and shows that I am achieving the effect I am looking for, although there is no point of comparison between my work and that of the master.

Understanding this I have decided to make a series of portraits as pure as possible, trying to emulate my referent, so that I can learn even more if possible how he works.

The concept of deconstructing is an invention that I have referred to on several occasions, I could not better define what I do, so this new series in which I am working will be called "deconstructed portraits", to differentiate it from other series the title or name of the work I will try to be a concept or idea instead of a woman's name which is what I usually used to use.

This is the final result of this change of approach for this series that I want to develop, I have called it "Black Swan" because it reminds me a lot of Mark Heyman's work of the same name, I hope you like it and best regards.

Este es el resultado final de este cambio de planteamientos para esta serie que quiero desarrollar, lo he llamado "Cisne Negro" porque me recuerda mucho a la obra de Mark Heyman del mismo nombre, espero que les guste y un saludo.

I need to look more into those artists you mentioned. I do think Black Swan is a great title for this one. I love the mystique and beauty it shares. Great job!

Thank you very much, glad you like it, yes, when I saw the image for the first time I thought of doing something related to "Black Swan", is what it suggests to me.

Hello friend, I hope it is being a good week for you, I have another doubt to ask you: yesterday I was written in a post that an artwork had been selected by a curator, that they would give me a small bonus and they propose me to delegate to them to get rewards... I usually have my HP close to 99% daily... do you think it is an interesting option?

I've been studying the healing trails thing but I don't really know how it works, if I have a lot of HP left over every day maybe it would be interesting to delegate it to someone, right?

I am interested in your opinion since you know how I work and if it could be a disadvantage for my publications.

(If you want to know where I found this message sent to me, it is in the message chain of the work "Valeria").

I am also interested in selling my art as NFT, mainly the short animated videos that last a few seconds, do you know of any video on the internet where they explain me how it works for example "NFTShowroom"? I would like to make a short series of my works and put them for sale, although I do not know if they charge a lot of gas for tokenizing my art, in opensea for example I do not work well because they charge a lot.

If the commissions were not too high I have lots of finished works that I could try to monetize since I have never charged anything for any of them.

Sorry for so many questions but I'm discovering a lot of things this week :-)

Thank you very much and a big hug mate.

The best thing you can do is vote. Vote your voting power down to about 90% each day and it will be refilled by the next day. If you do that and vote on posts you like you will grow your account by getting rewards for using your voting.

If you delegate your Hive Power to someone or a group... they will use your VP added to their own. You can get rewards for doing that... but you have such little HP that it would take longer to grow that way than just voting yourself.

Plus, if you delegate your HP it doesn't affect your own voting power consumption... it just lessens the value of your vote.

If you join the NFT Showroom discord you can get started in there. The link is in the weekly curation posts. You can mint your artwork there for sure. There is a frequently asked questions help room in there that answers a lot of the NFT Showroom questions. I think there are a few video tutorials in there and some really cool and helpful people in the general chat very willing to help out. NFT Showroom is the best place to mint as far as cost goes. I have a feeling your stuff would sell probably better than mine over there too!

I hope those answers help out!

Hi mate, sorry it took me a while to reply, I've been busy for a few days and I wanted to give you a proper answer.

I have considered delegating my voting power because I am wasting it, I have two jobs and two children and when I have some free time I usually stop to try to create something, I would like to have more time to vote for myself but I think it is a reasonable way to achieve some passive income because every day I finish it with 100% HP practically and I have no more time to devote to vote, sometimes I stop in the community (Alien Art Hive) and vote the works that I like but I have a lot of HP left over daily, taking into account I see that it could be a solution to not waste my HP in this way.

If you know of any trail that you think is worth delegating my vote to other than the one that contacted me let me know ok? I already did it with the Rising Star game but I haven't noticed that it brings me anything.

The NFTShowroom thing is awesome, I already created my account, I have been validated to be able to sell and when I get some money from HIVE I will use it to mine some works, I already tried with OPENSEA but the commissions are very very high.

Of course you have helped me, and I thank you very much.

I'm going to study the proxy voting, I still think it's a good option because I'm getting almost zero return.

Thank you very much for such a detailed explanation, I know that our time is gold, a big hug.

The problem with delegating your HP is that it won't leave you much to work with when it comes to Resource Credits to post, comment, and vote etc.

I would suggest using some of your rewards for a while to Power Up your Hive and HBD and then you will have enough to spare to delegate out.

I recommend OCDB... i get a little from them each day for delegating 500HP. Average is about 0.10 Hive per day for that amount of delegated HP.

As far as voting when you are not available to vote manually... you can log into https://hive.vote/ and add accounts that you would vote for anyways and it will autovote for you. You can also find a voting trail to join... but i don't keep up with all of it enough to recommend.

I would say just add accounts you know that post good stuff and add a bunch of them so that way you can be voting automatically all the time. You can adjust it from time to time by changing the weight of the votes and/or removing a few accounts.

For example... i don't post often on my personal account so there wouldn't be much to autovote on. We post an Alien Art Hive curation post 2 to 3 times a week. So, that would be a better option to autovote.

Give the HiveVote thing a try and grow your account a bit and Power Up so that when you do delegate it's actually something that will give you a better return on your resources utilized.

Right now with Hive being down is a great time to buy it with your HBD. When Hive goes back up all that you Power Up will increase your vote and rewards.

You're right, it's not worth it.... Well, since a few days ago I chose to collect the rewards in HP, I had already planned to try to level up.

OCBD seemed like a good option to me, I think that definitely if I ever delegate HP I will do it with them.

Of course I put in the same pack the autovote and delegate HP, it is a mistake as I understood it, I can vote automatically too of course.

Ok, I already have work to do, I need to know how to autovote, of course when I modify it I will vote the Alien Art Hive curatorship posts, that's for sure.

I'm itching to buy HIVE now, a month and a half ago it reached 3$ I thought I saw, crazy, I see it as a good investment at this time of course.

Thanks once again for explaining things to me!

Yes, that Hive.Vote site i linked is where you can set up autovoting for when you are at work and stuff. You don't have to do the AAH community post... it was just an example. Either way, get you a list of good content creators and just set your account to autovote them and you should be able to set it and forget it. It might take a few adjustments to get it all set right for you... but yes, i think it's a good way to use your HP while it's not being used and you aren't available to make use of it.

I think Hive is a good investment. I also believe it will go back up to 3$ or more eventually. Right now, everything is down. I don't think 3 will be the normal as Hive has a way of going up a lot then down a lot then sideways for a long time with some steady growth towards the upside. Overall, in the long run i think Hive is going to grow and increase in adoption and value. So, get it while it's low and stack it up. I think it will all payoff in the longrun! Cheers bro!

Great job!
