Moving in water at 22C I find not too cold once your body temperature rises after a few laps of swimming, then do water ballet or acrobatics to vary the exercise, warming up laps are essential before any exercise.

Each person is an individual you will know what is too cold, myself a bit of a fish in water the cold never affected me.

Water should warm up soon with summer on the way.

Haha, I love being in the water! But I think I might be a bit of a tropical fish. 🐠 I have actually been thinking I should possibly see about getting myself a wet suit so that I can extend my swimming window a little 😂

Either way, I am very unfit and I really do need to see about adding some exercise to my weekly routine. I gotta be careful what I do though, cause of my bummed knee. I was warned I could easily worsen it. So no running or lunges or anything that can impact my knee. Hence I was eyeing yoga as a possibility. I do have an indoor exercise bike that I should start making use of again too!

Wet suit and water would be much kinder on the body, treading water for a start to build up some stamina, then slow swim will have similar benefits slowly building up. Exercise bike we had gave up the ghost years ago after very good use, too expensive to replace at the moment.

They are very expensive and mine doesn't nearly see enough use. I should definitely need to get back into it.

A little each day slowly does it, eventually getting back into the rhythm, eventually enjoyment when feeling stronger.
