Hola amigos, les comparto mi participación con un dibujo que hice sobre una de las cartas que en su momento me gustaban mucho cuando solía jugar Splinterlands, es Twisted Jester, era para mi una de esas cartas en las que me salvaba mucho en varias batallas con otros jugadores; inclusive cuando me tocaba un jugador que tenía mejores cartas que las mías, Twisted Jester estaba ahí conmigo apoyándome en cierto sentido.
Hello friends, I share with you my participation with a drawing I made about one of the cards that at the time I liked a lot when I used to play Splinterlands, is Twisted Jester, it was for me one of those cards that saved me a lot in several battles with other players; even when I played a player who had better cards than mine, Twisted Jester was there with me supporting me in a sense.
Como siempre no quise dibujar a la carta que tuviese mucha relación con la misma, lo que hice aquí fue un estilo en lo cual hace referencia a esa carta. Pese a no tener esa sonrisa malvada; si que intenté que tuviese esa esencia más no demostrarlo. Solo quise hacerlo a un estilo que fuese cercano a lo gótico que tanto me gusta mucho realizar. Por desgracia hasta cierto punto no es que me haya quedado tal y como quería que quedase, pero los resultados finales si que me han agradado mucho.
As always I didn't want to draw the letter that had much relation with it, what I did here was a style in which it makes reference to that letter. In spite of not having that evil smile; I tried to make it have that essence but not to show it. I just wanted to do it in a style that was close to the gothic style that I like to do so much. Unfortunately, to a certain extent, I didn't get it as I wanted it to be, but the final results have pleased me a lot.
Lo que hice hacer también fue que la cara la tuviese pintada de blanco, ya que en la carta si que tiene como una especie de mascara, pero en esta parte quise hacerla como si la tuviese maquillada. Esto es algo que todavía me falta por mejorar para que tenga ese tipo de efecto, pero supongo que hasta ahora lo que he realizado no me quedó mal. A mi siempre me van a gustar en hacer un dibujo que haga más que todo referencia a otro sin la necesidad de que le parezca tanto, ya que siento que estoy haciendo un dibujo propio y no copiándome hasta cierto punto con uno, pero bueno todo depende de cual dibujo quieras realizar.
What I also did was to have the face painted white, since in the card it has a kind of mask, but in this part I wanted to make it as if it had makeup. This is something that I still need to improve to have that kind of effect, but I guess that so far what I have done was not bad. I will always like to make a drawing that makes reference to another one without the need to make it look so much like it, since I feel that I am making my own drawing and not copying myself to a certain extent with one, but well it all depends on which drawing you want to make.
