Hello guys, hope you all are doing well. It's been a long time since I've designed a Splinterlands character and I'm also participating in this community after a long time. As you read in the title Lily Shieldpaw is a Splinterlands character. I decided to embroider this character because I haven't embroidered a character in a long time.
As you all know embroidery is quite time consuming and if I were to embroider this complete character it would have taken me three to four days. That's why I only embroidered her face so that I could easily finish it in a day.
Let's see the procedure of this character step by step...,
I chose white fabric to embroider this character because the character is in red and red color looks more beautiful on white fabric. After setting the fabric in the frame I sketched the character. Remember that if you make a mistake in sketching, it cannot be erased. You will have to wash the cloth to clean it.
After completing the sketch I put the red thread in the needle and started embroidering the face. It is very important to embroider her face very delicately and carefully to design the right look of this character.
To make this character stand out, embroidery stitches must be diagonal. If we embroider only one side, it will not give a realistic look. Look closely at my step-wise pictures how to skew embroidery stitches.
I have finished embroidering her face with red thread and I have given her face one hour of hard work to reach here.
Now I embroidered her ears and eyes with white thread. When this embroidery is completed, we will also embroider with black thread. Therefore, we need to place our needle a little behind the lines of the sketches so that when embroidered with black thread, it does not look raised.
Now I have also embroidered her nose with white thread and you can see that here too I have done diagonal stitches and how neat and realistic it looks like this.
I know you guys are looking at her eyes right now which look so funny. I also embroidered her nose with black thread. You can see how cute her tongue looks by embroidering it with black thread. Now I will also embroider around her ears and face with black thread.
