The Path
I feel like this piece has a similarity to a Life-Death Journey. We came to this Earth from our Mother, and so is she through her mothers, so as our Fathers, and everyone else, all came from one place and into this realm, as an infant, to a child, to a teenager, as an adult, until our face all wrinkled out, until we fade away from this Earth to Nothingness.
Birth of Life
As we come about to this realm, infants blissfully unaware of the new world we are, joyful and playful as a child we start to paint a picture of our lives individually, every path we take, creates a new beginning and some of it dies somewhere in our memories, and still, we keep on walking that path of it as we grow from our childhood to our teenage years, we gain more of knowledge more wisdom that makes us who we are as an adult, and we become more aware how huge the world truly is until we realize we how little we are and how little we really know about life.
Gift of Death
And in the end, we will all die. A concept of life that is inevitable. While some of us fear death, some seek immortality using all possible resources just to prevent it from happening, but no matter how much anyone tries, at some point, somewhere, somehow when the time is up, it will come...
From my perspective, maybe we shouldn't be worried about it, and missing the point of it all when we do. I think if an individual worries, fear, or prevent death are more delusional than realistic. The Path of Life-Death is like a coin, so if you ask, "So what's it all about then?"
For me, it's all about Knowledge and Wisdom, at the end of the day, what have we painted? what have we learned? what connections have created? how many souls have we found and touched? How many lessons have we learned especially from our own mistakes? These are the things that are far more important for me than physical and materialistic belongings and maybe everyone should do too. Well, to be honest, it's everyone's journey so I cannot dictate it to everyone, I am merely suggesting.
The Path
This is the final form of my piece, for every line and stroke, it represents every single person that I came across and celebrated life, some part of lines are disconnected, some are blurry, some are empty, and some parts seem unfinished, maybe that is how it is, life is never perfect, at my age, my masterpiece is still unfinished, it is never perfect it is never worried, it is a continuous process.
The fact is, the more I question, the more I do not know, the more answers I get, the less I know. The more find, the more I seek, All I know is I will leave this world without knowing all things, but I'll be taking all that I have learned with me, heaven or no heaven, I will be one with the nothingness of the universe, and never ever come back to this realm again.
