Traditional art: Strange cyclopean.
Arte tradicional: Estraño ciclope.
Greetings my dear reader friends, today I present a new piece in physical art in which I represent my version of what would be a terrifying cyclops.
Saludos mis queridos amigos lectores, hoy les presento una nueva pieza en arte físico en la cual represento mi versión de lo que sería un ciclope terrorífico.
The Cyclopes are known for their strength, as they came from a race of giants and although their characteristic of having a single eye in the center of the forehead is what defines them, my version does not have a forehead and has its eye inside its mouth.
Los ciclopes son conocidos por su fuerza, ya que procedían de una raza de gigantes y aunque su característica de poseer un solo ojo en el centro de la frente es lo que los define mi versión no posee frente y tiene su ojo dentro de su boca.
As I have already said I try to learn a little more every day and while I was researching I heard about some anatomy books that caught my attention and I decided to buy some online. The thing is that while I was looking at some of them I could see some images that stood out and that really looked like other things to my inexperienced eye and that's where the idea of making a cyclops came from because while I was reading an image of the inside of the mouth seemed to look at me... and I decided to pay attention to it and change its appearance to something even stranger.
Como ya lo he dicho trato de aprender un poco más cada día y en eso que investigaba escuche sobre algunos libros de anatomía que llamaron mi atención y decidí adquirir algunos en línea. La cosa es que mientras veía algunos pude observar algunas imágenes que destacan y que realmente parecían otras cosas a mis inexpertos ojo y es de donde proviene la idea de hacer un ciclope ya que mientras leía una imagen del interior de la boca parecía mirarme… y decidí prestarle atención y cambiar un poco su aspecto al de algo más extraño aun.
To make the piece I took a letter size sheet of paper and used a pencil to sketch and then incorporated the colors without erasing the graphite and then with a black marker fine tip and a thick tip I proceeded to make more marked shades and shadows where this creature asked for them while he gave me instructions with his fixed look.
Para hacer la pieza tome una hoja de tamaño carta y utilice un lápiz para bocetar y luego incorpore los colores sin borrar el grafito y luego con un marcador negro punta fina y uno punta gruesa procedí a hacer tramas y sombras más marcadas donde esta criatura las pedía mientras me daba instrucciones con su mirada fija.
I'll leave the process below for you to enjoy how it progressed from a common anatomical image to something quite bizarre and strange.
El proceso se los dejare un poco más abajo para que disfruten como fue que avanzo de una imagen anatómica común a algo bastante bizarro y extraño.
It took me about 3 hours to finish this drawing because I added many details and mixed several elements in its realization. I hope you enjoyed it, love @shirahoshi and I hope to see you in a next post with a little more art.
