I'm presenting the new generation of NFTs with a concept based on shades of green and red against a dark background. Each piece will feature messages inspired by dreams, which I aim to capture through design.
For this second edition, I've introduced the concept that death isn't so bad. Many of us feel lost, without direction, or, to sum it up, lifeless. We reach a point where we come to a crossroads and question when something beautiful will cross our paths. Something that makes us reconsider the beauty of living, inspiring us to long to feel alive once again. I'm working on bringing this idea to life through the design of the pieces.

Les presento la nueva generación de NFT con un concepto basado en tonos verdes y rojos sobre un fondo oscuro. Cada obra contará con mensajes inspirados en sueños, los cuales intento plasmar a través del diseño.
Para esta segunda edición, he traído el concepto de que la muerte no es tan mala. Muchos de nosotros nos sentimos perdidos, sin rumbo, o para resumirlo, muertos en vida. Llegamos a un punto en el que nos enfrentamos a una encrucijada y nos preguntamos cuándo se cruzará algo hermoso en nuestras vidas. Algo que nos haga replantearnos sobre la belleza de vivir, lo que nos inspira a anhelar sentirnos vivos nuevamente. Estoy trabajando en plasmar esta idea a través del diseño de las obras.

PROCESS AND INSPIRATION
To begin with, I've drawn inspiration from the paintings of an artist I deeply admire, Zdzisław Beksiński. His works captivate me, as they seem to be drawn from his own dreams and convey a sense of awe rather than evoking fear. Specifically, I drew inspiration from one of his works depicting the formation of bones and the deformation of the human figure.
This piece became my starting point to create a completely deformed skeleton in my artwork. My goal is for the result not to instill fear but rather to impress and attract with a certain warmth. I aim to capture the essence of deformation in a way that sparks curiosity and wonder, evoking the feeling of exploring a unique and fascinating world. I am excited to share this interpretation that blends Beksiński's influence with my own creative vision.
Para comenzar, he tomado inspiración de los cuadros de un artista que admiro profundamente, Zdzisław Beksiński. Sus obras me cautivan, ya que parecen extraídas de sus propios sueños y transmiten un sentido de asombro en lugar de generar miedo. Específicamente, me inspiré en una de sus obras que representa la formación de huesos y la deformación de la figura humana.
Esta pieza se convirtió en mi punto de partida para crear un esqueleto totalmente deformado en mi obra. Mi objetivo es que el resultado no provoque temor, sino más bien que cause impresión y atraiga con cierta calidez. Pretendo capturar la esencia de la deformación de una manera que inspire curiosidad y asombro, evocando la sensación de explorar un mundo único y fascinante. Estoy entusiasmado por compartir esta interpretación que fusiona la influencia de Beksiński con mi propia visión creativa.
I started by generating a skeleton from scratch, and from there, I began to cut and modify its parts to achieve a unique deformation. My goal was to build it from the ground up, infusing personal modifications and giving it a distinct identity. To accomplish this, I used the skeleton's arms, extending them to function as horns. Additionally, I lengthened its spine using copies of itself, and elongated part of its legs beyond the usual proportions.
Comencé creando un esqueleto desde cero y, a partir de ahí, empecé a recortar y modificar sus partes para lograr una deformación única. Mi objetivo era construirlo desde cero, infundirle modificaciones personales y otorgarle una identidad única. Para lograr esto, utilicé los brazos del esqueleto, extendiéndolos para que funcionaran como cuernos. Además, alargué su columna vertebral mediante copias de la misma y elongué parte de sus piernas más allá de las proporciones convencionales.
I wanted to place a light in the skeleton's hands and have it discover the white butterfly. However, I thought it would be a more impactful idea for the light itself to emerge and reveal the butterfly, as the message is that these "divine, beautiful, and fruitful situations of life" suddenly appear to us. Therefore, through the use of textures and lighting techniques, I positioned the light and the butterfly in a way that conveys the notion that the skeleton encounters them unexpectedly.
Quise colocar una luz en las manos del esqueleto y lograr que éste encontrara la mariposa blanca. Sin embargo, me pareció una idea más impactante que la luz misma apareciera y revelara la mariposa, ya que el mensaje es que esas "situaciones" divinas, hermosas y fructíferas de la vida nos sorprenden de repente. Por ello, mediante el uso de texturas y técnicas de iluminación, posicioné la luz y la mariposa de manera que se transmitiera la idea de que el esqueleto se encuentra con ellas de forma inesperada.
DOOR
To add a background, I included a half-open door. I decided to place a light in the door to represent the concept of green-red. From the door emanates the light that attracts us, symbolising the negative, what makes us depressed and makes us make bad decisions; I leave the depth of this meaning to your interpretation. Therefore, the skeleton decides to take a step, avoid the door and follow the white butterfly. This is the message or focus I assign to the door and its red flash.
As for the dimensions, I adjusted the proportion as it was too big in relation to the skeleton. I used the lasso tool to cut out part of the door and reduce its size.
Para agregar un fondo, incluí una puerta semiabierta. Decidí ubicar una luz en la puerta para representar el concepto de verde-rojo. De la puerta emana la luz que nos atrae, simbolizando lo negativo, lo que nos hace deprimirnos y tomar malas decisiones; dejo a tu interpretación la profundidad de este significado. Por eso, el esqueleto decide dar un paso, esquivar la puerta y seguir a la mariposa blanca. Este es el mensaje o enfoque que le asigno a la puerta y su destello rojo.
En cuanto a las dimensiones, ajusté la proporción ya que quedaba demasiado grande en relación con el esqueleto. Utilicé la herramienta de lazo para recortar parte de la puerta y reducir su tamaño.
To finish, I added the corresponding red light and the green, represented as moss or a kind of dark magic. This green symbolises our sins, evils and perversities, the negative acts that brought us to where we are. I used layers of colour saturation and inverted layer masks. In addition, with the pencil of the tablet, which allowed me to be more precise, I made this painting on the scene.
Para finalizar, añadí la luz roja correspondiente y el verde, representado como musgo o una especie de magia oscura. Este verde simboliza nuestros pecados, maldades y perversidades, los actos negativos que nos llevaron hasta donde nos encontramos. Utilicé capas de saturación de color y máscaras de capa invertidas. Además, con el lápiz de la tableta, que me permitió mayor precisión, realicé este pintado sobre la escena.
The description of the artwork includes its title along with a brief summary of the accompanying story. Additionally, a QR code has been included; scanning it will lead viewers directly to the NFT Store platform, where they can access additional information about the piece and, potentially, make a purchase.
La descripción de la obra incluye su título junto con un breve resumen de la historia que la acompaña. Además, se ha incorporado un código QR; al escanearlo, los espectadores serán dirigidos directamente a la plataforma NFT Store, donde podrán obtener información adicional sobre la obra y, posiblemente, adquirirla.
