From what I've seen some of those are not too far from real hardware. The problem for most of us is that by the time we can afford the good equipment our hearing has deteriorated. Thankfully I don't have tinnitus and I value my hearing.
Yes, AI is getting extremely good and reproduction of human ideas into artform. As far as hearing goes, your absolutely right with our degradation of hearing and losing it before we have the means to buy our dream systems. I am one of those that has lost my hearing to a point but can still appreciate high definition sound.
