― William Collins, A Darker Shade of Sorcery
With every new and improved Stable Diffusion the results get slicker, but not necessarily better, as far as innovative - and for my taste - weird designs are what I am looking for. So for my surreal stuff, I often prefer to start with the old SD v1.4 and v1.5.
Results are often very unpredictable, but that is the way I like it.
But there are some new models that go by the name of 'Lightning' which are very good at creating crisp images, and only cost half a point, which is very economical. Evolving creations with the aforementioned old SD modes give quite different results.

In a world where the remnants of civilization lay scattered across a desolate landscape, there existed a peculiar creature known as the Chibi-Eating Dork Monster. This adorable yet eerie being roamed the cryptid taxidermy shops that dotted the post-apocalyptic wonderland, a place where the bizarre and the beautiful intertwined.
The monster, with its large, glistening eyes and tiny, sharp teeth, was a master of disguise. It could blend into its surroundings, appearing as an innocent chibi itself, only to reveal its true nature when other chibis came too close. Its body was a patchwork of intricate details, reminiscent of the fantastical works of Hieronymus Bosch and the surreal art of Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Each part of its form seemed to tell a story of its own, a testament to the world that once was.
In this strange land, the monster found solace in the abandoned theaters where stop-motion films by the Brothers Quay and the hauntingly beautiful scenes from "In Heaven Everything is Fine" by the Lady in the Radiator played on loop. The flickering images cast an ethereal glow on the monster's face, highlighting the delicate art nouveau patterns that adorned its skin.
Despite its fearsome reputation, the Chibi-Eating Dork Monster was not without a heart. It had a peculiar fondness for the chibis it consumed, often crafting elaborate memorials for them in the cryptid taxidermy shops. These memorials were works of art, intricately detailed and imbued with a sense of hyperrealism that made them seem almost alive.
I can't remember if on Nightcafe or Wombo
sometimes I take results from one and use as seed on the other
There are more, but this should do. It is certainly a fun prompt to use and get a ton of variations from it, in different formats, and on different platforms.
I hope this wasn't too scary. My motivation had to do with the abundance of syrupy-sweet 'Chibis' and similar that is cluttering the AI landscape. Enough already - I set my chibi-eating monsters on their trail to gobble them up wherever they are found!
