Hemllo ! if you don't know me I'm thisnewgirl ! I work doing pixelart animations as a freelancer, for my recurring audience : it's been a long time since we last met, C: I hope you're as excited to read as I am to write !
Usually when I miss hive it's because I'm focusing on my client's commissions outside the platform, so I dedicate my time to it, and when I'm done C: I come to share with you my artworks, ahh also I've been helping my mother with health issues, and for now everything is fine, just waiting for december to check on her and see how to proceed.

The client !
At the beginning of every commission I always ask the client for references of what she wants, among these images that accompany a description, in this case the image I show below was provided by the client as a reference, she wanted a pixelart animation of the blue haired character, she wanted the character to be on a roof, playing and tuning her guitar of which she also sent me references.
The sketch
For the client's reference I made two sketches, where one is better than the other. I showed her two possible poses for the character or styles and she preferred to go with the first one that you will see below.

time to fix and make those lines pretty
After choosing the pose, I improve and fix the proportions of the character: in this case the arm of the same that is too long, the boots that at the suggestion of the client preferred them shorter etc etc.

arm fixed, boots fixed, face, hair ab to be fixed too, fingers and all lines clean.
Having all lines done i start adding colors, and doing the shadows of the character based on the reference the client just sent me.
