RE: Balancing Act | A Mixed Media Art Project

nice creation! :)

on the topic: healthy egotism is irritating others, but I do it more often :)
managing (creating) my own time is much more satisfying than pleasing somebody's fictions :)
i've quit my "career" as a graphic designer 13 years ago and left the corporate world even before that...
it all happened naturally step by step...
yes, there was some level of resistance on different periods...
even now when I'm 45 sometimes wonder which path is the best...
i became kind of hermit with no kids or wife...after some failures and painful experiences :)
so now i believe i'm happy... the sense of true freedom is really addictive :)
and avoiding social madness is another gem helping me feel gratitude from the inside :)

Wow, what a change after deciding to leave the corporate world. I too felt the pressure of office politics in that environment. Doing things to please others isn't satisfying at all. Once a person learns this, they're more happier satisfying their own desires. I retired early in 2012. It was the best decision I made in my later years. Like you said...true freedom. It's intoxicating.

When you say "avoiding the social madness", that is exactly what it was all about. Dinner parties, socializing in and away from office. Once I found being online, I still try to avoid the "social madness" of pleasing others. I do what I like. If others don't care for it, move on. Pleasing time is over. PERIOD.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit and leave your thoughts on the question of multitasking. I appreciate it and your engagement. Take care and have a good rest of your week.
