In this painting I had to do a lot of layering so the paint does not sit flat on the canvas and instead has some life to it. This works well for this art style to have a little bit of impasto.
Inevitably, Digital art requires more manipulation than traditional art and it is easy to overwork a painting. For good or bad, the undo option can be a saver.
While I still celebrating finishing, I was thinking this should be one of those 'good things come in twos and threes'. So yes, I want to start another one and I would have if I had not irreparably damaged my pencil.
And so I must content myself with this painting, for now.
