Heya Art lovers,, I have a quick question.
Is Art a Talent or something that comes out of inspiration?...
It's just a talent β¨.
Don't get me wrong, here's why...
Reality;
Still-life drawing;
The person in the photo(s) is my mom.
She hasn't been drawing since she got married.
She told us about her works though.
The pictures above are the works she did in college.
But today, I begged to see her drawing in person as I've only ever seen her works, and today, she had me marveled in only 10 minutes.
I saw, step by step, as she made those inanimate objects come to life and have an essence. She calls it still-life drawing.
It still shocks me on how she did it.
Art usually is shocking. It's really is marvelous how with lines or probably color, people bring life to things.
It even looks a million times better.
I'm not here to bore you but to appreciate my mom and other artists out there.
She once told me that she won an international competition and came 3rd place globally when she wad in grade 8 (JSS2). How cool is that?
Today, I just told her to make me a drawing.
She just grabbed random items and made it look beautiful.
In reality, the arrangement may suck, but the drawing actually highlights the essence of these simple items.
When I asked what inspired her, she said that it wasn't much.
It shows that the creativity that has been dormant was ignited from merely looking at objects.
That's the same thing with music composers, creative writers, content creators or whoever falls into the art industry.
I think that they already know what to do but probably lack insight on how to begin.
I made this post on behalf of my Mom. Though I'm really sad she's too busy to draw anymore but I'd be posting her works from time to time.
She said she could also enhance some drawing skills. I'd have her make some tutorials or post some tips.
Free advice to all artisans out there... Never stop!!
You add so much spice to life through your work.
She looks so fulfilled in this photo πβ€οΈ.
I encouraged her to post it to the art community that I'm in.
I hope you all love it π₯²ππ₯°
