Subliminal conscience, the two sides by @viktoriaarts

Greetings to everyone, my university is entering a small vacation period in which I have been resting, reflecting and thinking about what kind of studies to do for this time. This time I started my artistic process in a different way, I immersed myself in a different experience with one of my friends to see the midnight gospel and although I already had the theme in my head by coincidence just touched that theme in the 3 episodes we saw, which is meditation.
I could define it as the state of full consciousness in which you are aware of your body and mind, entering into a state of concentration and observation. I think that, after a while I was able to experience a little bit that state of observing and that is the main subject of the drawing. That's why I wanted to capture the head as something external and very mystical because that's where the observation that nourishes everything else is born. On the other hand, talking with my friend we also came to the conclusion of how important the environment can be in this state, even though it does not have the same level of weight that it could have in a less present state, it is important because we are living it and that is where it can become a current of thought that nourishes us by understanding it. From there I generated the psychedelic background of the colors above.
When we were watching the series, we discovered that it was like a game where we had to struggle to pay attention precisely because of the awareness of the outside environment where things were always happening. That's why we were able to have great feedback and everyone had a different perspective depending on what we were paying attention to. I used two filters to express these two perspectives, one more conscious than the other.
In the more colorful version is that stream of consciousness in a clearer version and I feel it has several elements that symbolize this like the flame in the hand, the flash coming from one of the arms, the head itself and the shape of a little rainbow coming from the side. It is the part of this state of observation where there is tranquility and concentration. Of course, it depends entirely on the relationship you have with your inner world, as it can be in the things I pay attention to the most, such as gratitude and creation.
On the darker side of the drawing are the other parts from which I received this feedback, where the conscience floods you in deep questions like the ones that were touched in the episodes. In this case and the one that caught my attention the most for this illustration was the reflection where you try to understand by religious means when artists feel they can't live without that “something” that characterizes them which is usually some recurring behavior or feeling, we almost always think that without that we wouldn't have our spark or we wouldn't be funny/eloquent enough. But it's just a distraction or with respect to religion that satanic something that makes you think that if you do things being balanced and happy it won't be the same and you won't enjoy it.
In this case we made the comparison of Adultswim song “when i was done dying” for the colorful drawing and the creative song of don't hug me im scared.
I think all aspects of meditation are worth exploring, especially for creating our art. do you think so too? Thanks for reading and for those of you on vacation happy vacations. I leave attached the drawing process on my youtube channel:

Were other characters with the "tsu" that I could have chosen. But I decided I wanted this one specifically as it has to do with my muse's personal history, mine and the meaning of each name. Thus jouhatsu, would be that which is lost, without papers, in a strange environment and having no intention of being found by what it once knew. Hitotsu, would be the personal valuation I would give to my muse as that of solitude, originality, appreciation and priority. As a "I found you, even though you didn't want to be found." Going back to the anatomy of muses, I think it was important for me to differentiate between what a muse is and an idol or a kind of crush. At first I received a lot of criticism from my peers, friends and other communities. Because we were the same age and in our youth, it was perceived as if I had a crush on him. This made me repress myself a lot because I was not understood. I think it's important to question yourself in those moments. If you want to be like your muse, you have found an idol. If you feel attraction and jealousy, you have found a crush. But if you feel that your observation skills have improved, you are more self-absorbed than usual, your art becomes more consistent, creative and you enjoy the process more. Congratulations, you have found a muse. When i saw my muse for the first time, i felt like i was suddenly in a bubble. In peace and self-absorbed. specially the first time i saw him smilling the world for me literally stopped. . According to this information, this is what would be defined as the "ethereal aura" that all muses need to have in order to be muses. The problem lies in when that muse reveals a dark naturalness that manifests itself in the author's art itself, since each muse has a different effect and we attract them by specific characteristics. But this will be a point to be discussed in the next post, thanks for reading this and take a look of my post.
I used "ibisPaint - Draw and Paint App", some of this brushes: Lustfull-stray, wet, spray and lashes brush. Also the layers configuration: intense light, soft light and multiply. The effects were made with Ibis paint resources and modified by me for this illustrations.
