Greetings my dear Hive community!!!
Good night, Mornings maybe Afternoon!!! well Hello helloπ
Today I want to share with you a drawing that I made, finally testing a graphite pencil that an artist from my city gave me when I had my first exhibition, which made me very happy and I kept it in a very safe place so that it wouldn't break. The bad thing is that I never used it, whenever I drew I was afraid to use it and I chose pencils, also because well I didn't want to spoil it hahah it was like a memory.
Today the electricity failed again (many hours), that is not unusual but instead of making sketches I decided to finally use it, so well here I present to you what I did for today using the materials, what I did do was leave what would be a color red to add it with PS, I didn't want to edit much.
Add some light and a little more, I didn't want to do something so neat but a little more careless, I ended up with black hands ahahah
I hope you like it and now I leave you with some of the images of the process.
By the way, I uploaded a video through @ecency but I still don't know how it works so I don't know if it will look good, but in addition to the video that I managed to upload, I would have liked to upload the others but well, my internet thinks that 150mb is a complete tragedy. I was only able to upload the 48mb one after well......hmm well I lost count of the minutes, actually many.
In essence the video is just part of the process since I thought that instead of images I could put some videos maybe, but as I said I don't know what it would look like or how it would work so this will be a test, if it works I will stay awake at night to upload the next videos.
The first thing I took to make this drawing was: one of my canvases that is special for chalks, I chose this sheet because it had a quite interesting texture! Besides that....
- Graphite Rod
- Pencil 8B
- 3B Pencil
- 8H.
-.-
-.-
After having my work table ready I started to make the sketch with the 8H pencil so that it wasn't so dark, although in the end I practically lost it. Well, it seems to me that even when I do traditional it happens to me, but it's okay, I work on the march hahaha.
It was a little complicated to handle the Graphite Rod but after a while I was able to acclimatize, I drew with both hands since I actually recorded several videos of the process, but it is somewhat complicated without the tripod ahahh so I only moved my phone from one hand to the other. another while drawing with the other handπ

-.-
I worked little by little, I added several quite strong strokes because the graphite was quite dark but with the help of cotton I softened it to sometimes remove textures and other times a lot of darkness.
-.-
After a while I already had quite a few things ready, and when the light finally came I finished the rest of the things that were missing, what I can say is that well, I did like working with my materials again although well the only bad thing is that generally I do it when the power goes out so it's not good news either.
-.-
To finish the piece, I took some photos, the truth is that there were several because the lighting complicated things for me.
After having it in PS I added the red color that I was thinking of using to have a combination that I really like.
Besides adding some darkness I didn't want to make so many edits to the finished drawing.
Thanks for seeing my new work and I hope you like it. See you tomorrow with something more "fantasy" for the #Splinterlands Art contest!!!
Good night and don't let the darkness get you. πππ
