Time Mage - Splinterlands Art Contest 289

Saludos querida comunidad Splinterlands!

Han sido varias semanas sin participar del concurso de esta comunidad, pero finalmente pude completar una nueva ilustración y me emociona por fin mostrarla, pues es una de las primeras cartas que intente dibujar, pero que finalmente desistí porque no lograba hacer su vestuario, se trata de Time Mage espero que me acompañen en el proceso de creacion de esta ilustración y sea de su agrado.

Greetings dear Splinterlands community!

It has been several weeks without participating in the contest of this community, but finally I could complete a new illustration and I'm excited to finally show it, because it is one of the first cards that I tried to draw, but finally I gave up because I could not make his costume, it is Time Mage I hope you join me in the process of creating this illustration and it is to your liking.

Este personaje me recuerda a Sailor Moon así que decidí hacer un personaje delgado de largas piernas en una pose divertida mientras sostiene su báculo, que en este caso es un reloj en una larga barra.

Después que hice mis líneas procedí a colorear la base de mi ilustración, para esto tomé directamente los colores de la ilustración original y pinte cada área en un a capa diferente.

This character reminds me of Sailor Moon so I decided to make a slim character with long legs in a funny pose while holding her staff, which in this case is a watch on a long rod.

After I made my lines I proceeded to color the base of my illustration, for this I took directly the colors of the original illustration and painted each area in a different layer.

Luego comencé a colorear, colocando las sombras y luces en mi ilustración, decidí que el foto de luz estaría desde el lado derecho justo de frente al personaje, empecé entonces con el coloreado de su piel, me gusta mucho su expresion segura, pues aunque los magos del tiempo son seres muy serios quienes tienen una gran responsabilidad debido a que juegan con la tela del tiempo ella aún es joven y se siente muy confiada ejerciendo su labor.

Then I began to color, placing the shadows and lights in my illustration, I decided that the light photo would be from the right side right in front of the character, then I started with the coloring of her skin, I really like her confident expression, because although the wizards of time are very serious beings who have a great responsibility because they play with the fabric of time she is still young and feels very confident exercising her work.

A continuación coloreé el resto de su traje, me gusta mucho porque parece el de una superheroina con sus largas botas y los elementos dorados de su armadura los cuales disfrute mucho colorear y procure hacerlos muy brillantes.

Para el fondo quise recrear algo parecido, una bruma con un fondo del espacio, así que primero dibuje las formas irregulares y luego usando máscara de capa pinte el fondo espacial con planetas.

Next I colored the rest of her costume, I really like it because it looks like that of a superheroine with her long boots and the golden elements of her armor which I really enjoyed coloring and tried to make them very shiny.

For the background I wanted to recreate something similar, a mist with a space background, so first I drew the irregular shapes and then using a layer mask I painted the space background with planets.

En este punto ya mi ilustración estaba casi terminada, solo agregué algunos efectos para oscurecer la parte que aún se encuentra entre la bruma e iluminar la parte que está fuera, luego comencé a modificar el fondo fuera de la bruma y ubicarla en un paisaje como un bosque, así que dibuje el suelo bajo sus pies, con algo de hierva y algo de vegetación, probé tanto que pareciera que esta hubiera usado su poder sobre el árbol al fondo, para hacerlo pasar de la primavera al otoño.

At this point my illustration was almost finished, I just added some effects to darken the part that is still in the mist and illuminate the part that is outside, then I began to modify the background out of the mist and place it in a landscape like a forest, so I drew the ground under her feet, with some grass and some vegetation, I tried so much that it seemed that it had used its power on the tree in the background, to make it go from spring to autumn.
